Campaign releases NEWEST AD!!!! (+$1 million combined buy for next 3 ads)

Outstanding ad. Thank you Team Ron Paul for going straight to the mattresses and putting heavy buys out early. I love this aggressive approach.

Campaigns often test ads with surveys and focus groups and tweak them for maximum effectiveness so I am willing to bet this one was done the same way.

Wow - wouldn't it be awesome if their resident representative would actually make an official statement to that effect?

I made a Black This Out comment in this ads comments. Can everyone vote it up? And post your own comments?

Blah... Sleeper and doesn't address the female vote. Couldn't get a WAF in there or a middle aged daughter proud of vet dad?

Absolutely excellent! We can win this thing! The campaign knows exactly what it needs to do, and this is it!

Agree it's a good ad. But the audio/video being off sync totally kills it for me--that kind of stuff bothers the hell out of me and always has, for whatever reason. Hope it's only a Youtube problem, not on the TV ad. But still, even if it's only a Youtube problem, it should get fixed, since many outside IA/NH will only see it on Youtube.

Great ad! It's emotional, downplays the "extremist" tag, and targets seniors. It's a perfect ad for its intended target.

And for those of you complaining...remember, this isn't an ad for RP supporters, but for a demographic that we're struggling in.

I'm proud to see my donation dollars being put to wise use!

I'll be honest, I don't like it. I don't want Ron to go down this road...

I don't like this type of persuasion either, but I think we already reached everyone we can reach with logos. They need to do these kind of appeals if they want to keep climbing in the polls.

Excellent. Powerfully understated.

Speaks to the horrors of war, the heroism of our veterans, Ron's appreciation of and support for their service and sacrifice, he won't forget them, and humanity. Also -- "Only a veteran can understand a veteran", spoken by a veteran.

I think of those close to me who are vets or family members & friends of vets. This will resonate strongly.

If it seems like its targetting the feeble minded and nationalistic types, its probably on the right track. I don't have any issues with this type of ad though. No imbellishments, and shows Ron for what he truly is; anti-war and pro people.

1 minute ad, 1 million dollars and I didn't learn anything why he's the veterans best friend. He got a guy some medals and told him thank you. That's great and all, but what congressman hasn't done that?

I wish they would have included in there, that he's the veteran's best friend because he wouldn't be sending our troops overseas to engage in reckless imperialism like the Vietnam War.

You're looking at the ad through the eyes of a Ron Paul nerd. This ad targets a very specific audience - it wasn't made for me and you.

This. Regardless, I love the ad. I think it will hit home with seniors, and hopefully women. A $1M ad buy is impressive too. I'm glad they have that kind of money ($4.5M on hand) to spend. This should encourage us to promote the next moneybomb more.

Good job to everyone at the campaign.
