CA reg voters must FAX from COUNTY RECORDERnotarized forms 4 RP votes 2 count-FORMS INSIDE

Ok so I just mailed out my form today, I passed out around 30 forms at our fed rally, I stressed the importance but I can't guarantee all of them are going to do their part (unfortunately).

SA, how many do you have now?
 
I found some information that may be relevant to this cause.

How does California select its electors?

On or before October 1 of the presidential election year, each party's nominee must file a list containing the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the 55 electors pledges to him/her. Each party determines its own method for selecting electors.

That only applies to party nominees, the write in candidates follow a different process, the one we are doing.

eleganz, I haven't received any yet. I am assuming it is just because of when the weekend fell and I will get a bunch tomorrow. I put the forms up Friday likely too late to get into the mail. For people who mailed them Saturday, most would likely get here tomorrow.

Yes. That's the way I read it and it helped confirm for me what we are doing.

Have you received any of the forms yet? I mailed mine on Friday, personally handed it to the mail lady... Hopefully you have received mine!

I saw someone posted a link to this thread here: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/California-Write-In-Vote-for-Ron-Paul/356528501099005, so hopefully we will get some more electors soon!
 
As of today, 9/26 we have 5 - all received today, including 2 postmarked 9/21

On the other hand, eleganz's, postmarked 9/24 is also here. So I guess it really depends from where in CA they are sent.

KerriAnn, I received yours as well, thank you both! (And to the other three whose forms I have so far received, as well!)

I just posted the forms 9/21, so I am just starting to receive them.

The notary said she wasn't supposed to do things not connected with Chase documents but the manager told me it could be done so luckily I got mine done for free. She was interested in why I was doing that and it pretty much led to what happened to us. :D

She told me she will youtube Ron Paul that night.

I don't know, clearly. There are two other efforts but I only know of people sending in a form here or there. I will try to track down the person organizing one and see how many they have. We can combine if this doesn't work. But today is the first day I got any and they don't technically have to be filed until Oct 23. But I want them in earlier, so we can spread the word and not have a bunch of different versions. I expect Ron's votes to count one way or another. But this point all I know is I just got some mailed to me the first day I posted them, and that I have 6 (including my own) and need 55.

But I haven't been beating the bushes all that hard yet, either. People spreading the forms would help.

I'll say for me though; I've got my ten bucks worth in education on this topic alone. You charted new territory for me sailingaway. In fact this whole election cycle has been pretty educational.
