CA reg voters must FAX from COUNTY RECORDERnotarized forms 4 RP votes 2 count-FORMS INSIDE

I don't know if this has been discussed as I didn't read through the thread, but what are the goals of this? We know Ron isn't running, but what are we achieving?

getting votes for Ron counted as they were in 2008 by getting him to be a certified write in candidate. I don't think he'd MIND if he had 55 Ron Paul votes in the electoral college -- who knows -- it might decide the race!

I received a 23d (or 22d, not counting mine) but it had the notary sign in BOTH the notary spot and the elections official spot. I will double check the instructions, I thought I had changed them to say that you only do one of those. The notary (most use this) goes in the notary spot, and if you don't use a notary but use an elections official (which is technically permitted under the code, but I don't even know whom it refers to) then you use the second spot. You leave the one you don't use blank.

I will call the SOS and see if this is a problem but the form is from Pacoima, so if you think it is yours and want to resend, you might want to do that. I hate to make people do the notary thing twice, is all.

I sent mine in for Ron Paul & Karen K weeks ago

XXXXXXXXXXXX I don't know if you know that, or if the SOS approved it.

I am sending messages to the groups within 50 miles of San Francisco.

So far:

Ron Paul/John Dennis 2012- SF
San Jose Ron Paul meetup group
Bay Area rEVOLution

These were the three groups nearest to me that had the biggest membership numbers. Some of the groups I noticed had the same "leaders" or whatever, so I hope I'm not bugging them... I sorta copied and pasted the letter you sent out, Sailing. Hope that's ok.

Thank you, KerriAnn and eleganz!

Also notified:

Santa Monica Tea Party (from the 2007 money bomb)
Ron Paul San Diego
Westlake Village/ Thousand Oaks
Inland Empire Ron Paul 2012
and Freedom Frank who is a member of a few different groups in Irvine

Do you have contact information for the person organizing that? It seemed to me we should coordinate, and earlier I would have been happy to change to her VP but now we are close to the deadline - I think we should go with whichever VP combo has the most forms. but if she isn't collecting them, as of earlier this week the SOS had only received 7 for Ron Paul, regardless of which VP. I had thought she might be gathering them to send all at once, and maybe some of them she is. I'm going to delete your personal name, though. You can put it in, but I wrote it down so if you don't want it on here you don't have to.

Welcome to the forums!

(which seems odd to say since your join date is before mine!)

I also sent out an email message to the, "San Jose Ron Paul Meetup Group". Did you see it? I didn't see yours yet.

I do see it. I don't know how you got that. What I did was click the 'email' link under the group and send an email to the organizer. I don't know that much about meet up to be honest, I just helped send stuff to meet up groups by email before the Ames straw poll etc.

bump for morning. I just figured out , since I didn't use new posts before, that if you haven't bumped a thread in a relatively short time it drops off new posts even if nothing else has been posted, so there isn't even a full page of new posts. I'm sure you all knew that, but I didn't.

yeah.. I didn't know that either. I wondered why the new posts button sometimes gives me 4 pages of stuff and sometimes doesn't fill one page. Bizzare

I think I did the same thing as you... I sent an email to the organizers for the group. Each group has 2 or 3 organizers. I figured they could spread the word to their active members if they agree with our purpose.
Is there a way to post something to a message board or something? I haven't really been active in my meetup groups lately.

when you go on the meetup page where the contact link is, I think if you push contact and don't push 'email' it might be the message board, but then it only goes to people if they check it - on the other hand, if the organizer doesn't get around to emailing out what you send, sometimes it might be better, I guess. I've been doing the emails.

Bump for having received two more!

But we really have to push! I have to send mine out at LATEST on the 22d EARLY, before the mail comes in, overnight to Sacramento.
