Oh boy! Looks like we caught the big fish. He's probably a Fed asset that they have been cultivating in Montana.

Other veterans had their suspicions about Ryan Payne early-on, and began to do some checking on his military record. When they asked around in the Ranger community, no one had ever heard of a Ranger named Ryan Payne. This lead Georgia Ranger veteran Danny Harrington to directly contact the Airborne Ranger Training Brigade at Ft. Benning, Georgia, to run a “tab” check. The staff at the Ranger Training Brigade confirmed that no person named Ryan Payne had attended Ranger School between the years 2000 and 2014. I have included the e-mail string between Harrington and the Ranger School that paralleled the investigation into Payne below. Below that, I have included an audio interview with Ranger, Danny Harrington, recounting how he then called the Bundy Ranch and spoke to Payne personally and “outed” Payne’s deceit. On the phone, Ryan Payne admitted that he had never gone to Ranger School and had never served in an actual Ranger unit.

Uh oh...

So, I didn't really follow the whole fight on this, but I guess it's safe to say that Stewart Rhodes was right?

Meh, I am pretty confident, as I was from day 1, that the truth is somewhere in the middle. From my perspective, far closer to SR and OK than Payne, but neither really being wholly "right." My position is unchanged, except maybe even a little closer to SR and OK than I had thought before. Before this break I thought SR and OK were 80% right, and Payne 20%. Now I think it's more 90% and 10%.

Ten-roger.

The most dangerous type of person, a wanabe ranger. They want the killing rep of upper lever combat arms but not the discipline that comes with that training.

Well, that question is answered. Now on to the next... is he a Fed plant to gather information and sow discord among the militias or is he simply a wannabe Ranger?

My good friend who shall remain unnamed will not care. Dude was there first. Therefore he is great, no matter what.
It is not so much that he was there first as it is that he organized the first response. Called on the other folks that came and lead in establishing a defensive force. Not alone, but he was one of the first to do so.

Your good friend is not even sure that the mans name is even Ryan Payne.

Firstly, It would be wise for any in such a position to use an alias. ( Boodah,,Little dog, etc.)

Secondly,, I could give a shit about a "Ranger".. It means diddly.

And thirdly,, we only have the word of folks that have been deliberately attempting to disparage,, and I have no reason to believe or trust the NON evidence presented.

And lastly I don't care,, Mr Bundy trusts him, and the crew that is there providing security. He was there and stood when it mattered,,and successfully backed down the BLM,, (I don't care if he is an unemployed burger flipper,, that was good)

And it ain't over.

Oh,,and some other perspectives,,from folks that are there.

Pay particular attention at about 5:20

Oh,,yeah,,lets not forget the "Crazy Lady" with the kids,,

I can see why Satan would like to remove that inspiration from the camp.

The fact that he was specifically going out of his way to disparage Oathkeepers and others doesn't speak well for him. Now he's caught lying about his military affiliation which is a big NO-NO. He's either mentally imbalanced or a Fed asset, given that Montana is crawling with FBI. The former being more preferable to the latter.

Well, now that the FBI is investigating. Let's hope he isn't a plant.

He is a good looking guy and sounds 3/4 genuine in video's after the initial Oath Keeper hit piece.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't want this guy or his guys behind me if SHTF.

But what do I know.

Nobody gives a sh*t whether he is a ranger or not but claiming he was makes him a liar and untrustworthy. As far as him being a FBI plant I don't think so, as they wouldn't have been stupid enough to claim ranger status knowing it can be verified and thus outed.

Made up bio that could be easily refuted...maybe just not that bright? My bets are on Fed plant.

I truly hope Mr. Bundy hasn't been duped into trusting the wrong people. He has already proven that he doesn't always exercise the best judgment.

Yep and maybe he was there first because someone wanted to get a leg up on being in charge. Did the Bundys know him before he showed up?

You have to wonder why he wrote this. Delusions of grandeur? Or perhaps he needed an "in" to the militia network in Montana.

I enlisted in the US Army at the age of 17, and served in F-Co, 51st Infantry, the 18th Airborne Corps Long Range Surveillance Company, a Ranger unit developed during Vietnam as Long Range Patrol, used for missions deep inside enemy controlled territory. I was discharged as a Sergeant/E5, Assistant Team Leader of a LRS Team in 2006. I was involved in the initial invasion of Iraq, OIF I, and returned at the end of 2004 for OIF III. My team planned and executed numerous combat missions in theater, usually at great distance from friendly support. I am not highly decorated nor was I an exceptional member of the unit, but I did the best job I could, and have attempted to hold myself to the Ranger Creed, in service to my country, my community, my family, and employers. Since leaving the service I have pursued a career in multiple facets of construction as an electrician, certified structural welding inspector, cell tower construction project manager, and general construction contractor. I have started and ran 2 companies, both of which saw their end due to government regulations. I moved my family, wife and 2 boys, to Montana from California in order to build a homestead and secure my family, as well as join a local militia unit. I found that there were no such units in the area, so I started one with the help of some dedicated local gentlemen, the West Mountain Rangers, 41st Mountain Field Force.

I don't find that to be true in any way whatsoever.
What I see is a man with very good discernment, and a large and loyal family,,and a successful business. Well respected by his community.

That is not how the Media is trying to portray him,, but they stole the taped interview and then cut one small part of it to smear him,
That interview was never given to the main stream media.
