Breaking: Paris shootings and explosions near Stade de France kill 129

So did this event just put Trump in office?

Can't see how. Americans still don't want to attack Syria. Something would have to happen in the US to cause another 9/11 reaction from the sheep. It's important to counter the obvious cries from the usual suspects that will quickly emerge from this begging for Americans to go "clean house". It's all so scripted and predictable.

The word is these are people who lived in France, went to Syria, got trained and returned to reign terror.

I've always been for staying out of the business of other countries and not policing the world, but I have reached the point that serious measures now need to be taken against ISIS or this will just continue in countries around the world - including the U.S.

At this point, it's time. We need to put together a multi-national force, have an up and down vote in Congress to declare war - and declare war against ISIS and go all out in Iraq/Syria. Full invasion. Scorched earth. Wipe them out - and then leave. They come back like cockroaches, go back in and wipe them out and leave. Repeat and rinse until they decide to live peaceful lives.

And where did this "word" come from? Is it stamped on their passports? Did they post it on their Facebook? How is it that my grandma can't write an email to her church without the government knowing yet people can go to Syria, get training and come back without the government knowing? Did they book a flight through Air France to Syria? Do you always believe what you are told?

If the reason ISIS exists is because we went in there, your answer to solving this problem is to go back in there? When are you joining the army to go fight them? Want to have a farewell post for you as you go fight for our freedoms. AMERIKA FK YEA!!

Time to support Assad

I don't support anyone except other Americans and the innocent victims of these corporate NWO games overseas. "Supporting" Assad is a dangerous game to play for an American, given the laws put on the books in recent times (Patriot Act, NDAA, etc). Be politically active, of course, but tread lightly with your rhetoric and craft your words carefully.

hopefully the French people wake up and realize the GOVERNMENT is screwing them. if only you looked at the photos, it's obvious it's all the GOVERNMENT vehicles that are blocking the way of people who really need and want to help. INTERFERENCE IS MURDER.

It's been ages since I've posted but this is the first place I come to when stuff like this happens in the world.

My first reaction is of course - Skepticism. And then fear - what do they have in store for us now???? What will they implement next?

Problem. Reaction. Solution.

Check out Naomi Wolf's FB page from time to time. She has citizen journalists from around the world who
give more accurate and truthful accounts of major news stories in their respective areas. I'm hoping we'll hear
more from France:

To all the people who suddenly want to "wipe out ISIS," why didn't you say anything when they blew up an airplane that killed 224 Russians a few weeks ago? They are performing terrorists attacks every week. Why are you all ready for war now? Is it because you love the French people so much? Or is it because the TV/MSM told you that you should be pissed? Did you lose a loved one in the attack? What has changed?

This is my biggest fear, politically, in regard to these attacks. As they say, "Never waste a good crisis." I'm afraid the US will take this opportunity to launch us into yet another war that will deplete our own economy, and there will be no cooperation with Russia in the matter.

On that note, take a look at this! http://www.investing.com/news/world...-refugee-plan-in-wake-of-paris-attacks-371265

So, as France closes its borders, Obama decides to open our wide up? I'm not denying that there are legitimate refugees who are fleeing this type of brutality and chaos, but caution should always be exercised! If I were a refugee, I know I'd like to get in ASAP. I understand that POV completely. However, with France already considering a sort of Patriot Act of its own in the wake of these attacks, allowing refugees in would mean having to violate their civil rights to ensure the safety of our own citizens.

It's like being caught between a rock and a hard place.

good luck trying an attack in Texas

4. Recognize ISIS is another puppet enemy, created/funded/trained/equipped by US/UK/Mossad, to justify the war on terror and non-stop meddling in the Middle East.

possible, but I don't see the Catholics getting this much heat.
and well.
that I know of..
they stopped torturing witches and burning people at the stake several hundred years ago. :)

ostracism works!

He'll probably back-track on that one within a couple days.

He already did. That was over a month ago that he said to bring refugees here, then changed a couple days later after the backlash.

I only saw one post from a low post member. Outlier.

3.
isolate all Islamic countries. zero travel or trade both to and from.
let them clean up their own act.

How can we "isolate" them when our cia and military are in almost all of them fomenting unrest and creating civil wars by funding and training proxy forces?

This year, special operations forces have been sent to a record 147 countries—that’s 75 percent of the nations on the planet. It’s a 145 percent increase from the days of George W. Bush. And it means that on any given day elite U.S. forces are on the ground in 70 to 90 countries.

No need for the US or the West to launch another crusade in the middle east of sorts which is what I think I'm hearing from some of the posters in here. The best thing to do 1) Go to Congress and get a proper declaration of war against ISIS 2) Continue the air campaign against them and directly arm the Kurds who have proven to be the best fighters against them 3) Pressure nations such as Turkey and Jordan (who have both said they are against ISIS) to do more in the fight against them 4) Pressure the Iraqi government to be inclusive of the Sunni minority in Iraq as this will in the long term keep the Sunnis away from radical extremism.

I see this as an act of desperation by ISIS. They are losing ground to Kurdish & Shia forces in Iraq/Syria and there is the threat that Russia/Iran turn their big guns on them (so far Russia/Iran have been targeting the other rebel groups).

The worst kind of things we can do is establish a no-fly zone or to put down ground troops in Iraq or Syria. I am really hoping and praying that things get better...

Hate to be the one to bring this up, but this does trigger our NATO treaty obligation. No doubt there are a variety of options available, but it is now applicable.

Article 5

The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.

Any such armed attack and all measures taken as a result thereof shall immediately be reported to the Security Council. Such measures shall be terminated when the Security Council has taken the measures necessary to restore and maintain international peace and security .

I would like to do something about the Islamic issue, but there isn't much we can do unless we go over there and means test every single person. There are Christians there, too. Precious few of them, to be sure, but there are still some. The Islamists are exterminating them as fast as they can.

The first thing would be to end aid to those nations immediately.
