BRAINSTORM BOMB: Post new ideas here!

The stage of gimmicks is over guys, we got the money we need.
It is now time to focus on becoming delegates and doing the door-to-door thing.

I'm serious... I have much experience in campaigning. It is time to dismiss gimmicks and get boots on the ground.

Point noted, but we need more boots, too. This is a thread about ways to both increase Paul's visibility and consequently increase his base and his boots on the ground -- and in short order.

Our local meet-up ogranizers have recieved the game plan, this has already been taken care of.. contact your local meet-up organizer.

The campaign is sending TONS of campaign material to every meet-up group along with the plans for their state,

You are reinventing the wheel....time wasted. Everyone needs to be as active in their local meet-up as they are in here.

I agree, boots on the ground (or calling and writing early primary states) is the most important thing right now. However, a lot of us are just visiting this site while at work, and a little brainstorming never hurts.

As long as the on-lookers understand what needs to be done... that's fine. I had to interject this info...
Brainstorm is good excersize... but when you leave work what will you be doing? Will you be doing the things that need to be done? that is the question.

I'm trying to herd the cats in the right direction so we don't screw up again like we did in Wyoming. This election is too important.

A lot of people are calling for another Money Bomb. Personally, I think it’s too early for that. Right now, the Ron Paul campaign has more money than they can spend at the moment. I think trying to get even more, could have a back lash effect. Let things cool down for a bit, and wait till Christmas gets over. I believe the RP campaign and the Media have been shown there’s more where that came from!

IDEA!!
I’ve seen some asking for ideas. Here’s my 2 cents worth. I think if all of us bought RON Paul signs,( the big ones,) and cut them to fit our cars or trucks body lines, and then tape them to our vehicles or inside the windows it would have a huge impact. (I believe painters tape would not ruin the paint.) A lot of people don’t pay attention to yard signs. BUT, let them start seeing LOTS of cars with BIG Ron Paul signs taped to them, and they will start taking notice, and it just might raise their curiosity to start researching RP. After all, isn’t that what we all hope for? Priority of signs available should go to the states with the closest primaries if there is a shortage of them.
That would be much more effective then trying to shove RP down their throat. I even get a little too excited about him and get carried away at times trying to get friends and family as excited as I am. But know I could be turning them off instead of doing what I’m hoping to do. It’s better to let them find RP on their own, with a silent nudge from us. After all, isn’t that they way most of us found him.

We live in a “Monkey See, Monkey Do” society. People need to feel its “OK” to support Ron Paul. Once they get the idea its “OK” to be sick of the status quo, RP will catch on like wildfire.

DVD Bomb - make this happen. I'm putting DVDs from RonPaulDVD.com in local businesses. It's working. Everyone please do the same. It's cheap, easy, and brings Ron Paul to people's TVs.

Billboards. Bus ads. We can do tons of these for the price of one superbowl ad.

Slim Jim Bomb - Just take it upon yourself to buy 10 packs of Slim Jims, that's only U$30.00+ship.

Go out and distribute:

Malls are full this time of the year, just hand them out.

You can put on cars at the malls.

You can stick them in apartment doors.

You can get a couple of people to distribute them at busy intersections.

DO NOT LITTER.

Bye-bye old media

On Daily Paul someone suggested cancelling our cable/satellite at the same time! A Reverse Media Bomb! Actually I couldn't participate b/c I don't have it or miss it, but I love the idea. I especially like it b/c some of the conservatives (like myself) might start listening and jump on board.

Then we could give the money to Ron Paul OR if it's closer to the election, maybe we could find a charity that is NOT government supported and donate to it. It would be a way to say, look we can take care of those in need without a welfare state! It would also broaden our appeal. We need to show we are caring about others, not just our own pocket books as some claim.

Or what about the New Years parade?

Has anyone suggested this yet? Showing up with signs and slim jims or even DVD's to hand out?

You do know we have many ron paul supporters already running for congress don't you?
Trevor created my first campaign website....back in June.

I did not know but that is fantastic. Paul will need support once in office and there should be a money bomb for those candidates supporting Paul and that are running serious campaigns.

I think each candidate of ours should contact the owners of our major grassroots websites and each have an organized "mini-bomb" with a goal of getting each candidate around $300,000 to compete.

I ran for congress in 2006, have laid the groundwork for my run in 2008.

Make a social news site to replace the mainstream media. They've lost all credibility. Acknowledge that resources are tied to information. Facilitate the construction of our new world by giving those willing to build it a place to communicate, like we have here, but bigger then Ron Paul. Encourage crowd businesses, like RonPaulBlimp.com. Encourage ideologically driven economics (how do the people who earn money off you spend it?) Unite the demand side of our economy through information sharing. Demand peace, progress, and prosperity. If the website can generate profit, give that profit back to the people, by developing a system of government that can functions exclusively online. Let that government spend the money. Let that government grow and expand to the entire world. pennycrowd.com

If I had my own world
I'd fill it with wealth and desire
The glorious past to admire
And voices of kids out walking,
Dogs, birds, planes, cleanest cars

If I had my own world
I'd love it for all that's inside it
There'd be no more wars, death or riots
There'd be no more police, packed-parking lots,
Guns, bombs sounding off,

If I had my own world
I'd build you an empire
From here to the far lands
To spread love like violence

National rallies/food drive for all meetups/supporters, say on December 29th. Hit all the main areas. Contact the local food shelves and arrange for them to accept the donations. This will accomplish many things. It will get more people exposed to Ron Paul. It will show the supporters as caring humanitarians that help people which we are. It gets food for the food shelves which are usually short this time of year. Bring literature. Everyone and their brother are going to be out that day watching bowl games. Go to bars/restaurants and bring the tax for tips info. This will get a lot of local media attention as the local media is not afraid to cover Ron Paul.
