Now it’s time to regroup, re-focus, and map out the next phase with a BRAINSTORM BOMB!

Time is short, need to act quick for maximum exposure.

Please use this thread for all those ideas our vibrant grassroots community have been bouncing around in our stubborn little noggins! Throw ideas out here, then we’ll see what gets most favorable response. Tomorrow, we’ll focus on how to bring the best of these to fruition.

Please try to avoid more money bombs unless with a truly unique twist or directed toward innovative grassroots ideas. Yesterday was the big one, now let’s revamp. We need new, cutting edge ideas for other ways the press won’t be able to minimize us and yet we will maximize ourselves.

COMPILED IDEAS:
- New proposals for blimp usage (complete its funding of course)
- National Treasure II preview (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94D-jEZo70A)

Organize a veterans for Ron Paul rally on the national mall.

Coordinate a simultaneous nationwide protest in front of all the federal reserve banks.

Money bomb on January 5th to commemorate the birthday of Martin Luther King. The timing is good and an excellent way to emphasize peaceful resistance.

One kick-a** Superbowl commercial. There are people like me who only watch it for the commercials.

I understand and agree with protesting the Fed, but won't that just be spun to make us look bad?

They don't take political ads for the Super Bowl.

Agreed.

Two days before Super Tuesday.

Perhaps the first ever political commercial during the Superbowl?

It would be talked about a lot in the media on Monday, the day before 22 states vote.

Of course, the political situation may be very different in 6 weeks after all the January primaries...but we should be prepared!

I personally think the SB ad is cost prohibitive, but we're just throwing out ideas right now . . .

NO!

Too much money and not enough payoff!!!

We need times square on new years...all day on every TV across the country. We need to make the revolution real to them!

A twist to my "AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL: A BLIMP'S EYE VIEW OF THE RON PAUL NATION"

Instead of a commercial during the Super Bowl, what about making this a 1/2 hour vignette of American idealism / romanticism with beautiful aerial footage and powerful campaign moments of Paul's speeches, etc. that will run immediately after the Super Bowl, preferably on a mainstream network, but not necessary.

nothing new. we just need to do well in the first primary states to get some serious recognition. we should focus on delegates and making sure people are voting.

changing party affiliations if they need to. i think we've raised enough money. more money won't get us media attention like we need. votes. we need the votes.

Exactly, and the trends have proven that exposure to Paul brings support, hence votes. Trends have also proven the MSM is just not going to sufficiently help us, so I think we need to help them help us, either by paid programming or at the theatres, etc..

How can they spin it? People protest stuff all the time. If it's peaceful, and big, what can they do? I think it would be shocking to reveal just how many people are aware of how messed up the central bank cartel is, and it's timely. Lots of people are aware of the country's financial problems, but few people understand the role of the fed in creating these problems.

Speaking of which, CNN reporting right now as I type:

"Stagflation risks"

Alan Greenspan warning of a real possibility of the worst of both worlds.

Maybe call it "Break the Bank Day", with demonstrations in front of all the regional reserve banks. Perfect opportunity to demonstrate the nationwide Ron Paul support, and make people aware of Paul's sound money platform. It would definetely get media coverage.

They don't take political ads for the Super Bowl.

They are required to accept them by law.

This article, from April 2007, discusses the political strategy of a Superbowl ad:

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2007/04/12/politics/p144239D06.DTL&type=politics

From the article: "In 2004, CBS refused to run an ad by the liberal group MoveOn.org that criticized President Bush's budget policies. CBS said it had a policy against running advocacy advertising. Networks, however, have little choice but to accept ads from candidates, provided they meet the Federal Election Commission requirements for disclosure. "

Now it's time for EVERYONE to go door-to-door, sign wave, pass out slim jims…etc.

This is right!

Now its important to cut the time between the people hear the name Ron Paul!

The people have to read, hear or see the name Ron Paul 7 days a week.

Big bomb events every 2 or 3 weeks are not enough.

After the bombardment its time for the groundtroops and precise attacks.

More tv/radio/newspaper presence.

We have to show the people that only Ron Paul can bring in fresh air and a massive positiv change.

We also have to attack the other candidates and the MSM.

Now its time for close combat.

Show that Ron Paul is right in what he is saying because the system is fighting against him.
