BRAINSTORM BOMB: Post new ideas here!

i just made a thread for this:
on your holiday flight, grab the complimentary magazine out of the seat pocket and write ron paul stuff all through it! get creative too! that way the next passenger will have something to think about on their flight!

Buy the Des Moines Register and rename it the Ron Paul Register. I'm joking, but wouldn't that be awesome!

Let's keep this thread bumped up to the first page... lots of good ideas here that people need to see.

Restore the Glory of New Orleans

This is a going for the jugular, fight to win theme imo because 1) The American people would rally around the rebuilding New Orleans and the Gulf, and 2) it would put the media in a very awkward position, having to highlight the failures of the reconstruction to date.

So, what about showcasing the idea that the post Katrina recovery of New Orleans and the Gulf would have gone much better under a Ron Paul Administration? Ron Paul would have left each States' national guard at home, he would have put local officials in charge, and he would have kept their tax monies at home.

There could be a fund raiser to coincide with Mardi Gras, which happens to also coincide with super Tuesday, February 5th http://www.mardigrasday.com/

Here's some previous discussion on this subject.

Organize a veterans for Ron Paul rally on the national mall.

This could be huge of you could arrange for some prominent veteran endorsements.

That's a great Idea as well to make the news
in military circles - to get people interested in
Ron's "just come home!" stance.

Here is my idea and the thread I started a few days ago over here: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=51522

The beauty is that it costs nothing, and doesn't even take more than about 5-10 minutes of time. The idea is to join your computer to our team for the Folding@Home research project. Currently Obama's team is beating us, but with enough participants we could pass him pretty quickly. We've got about a dozen people signed up already, but we could use more!

This doesn't help as much or as directly as the other ideas so far, just thought I'd throw it out there since it literally only takes about 10 minutes to join up. Besides it'd probably get some press if Ron Paul supporters, the Obama people, Huck's guys etc all start battling it out for top ranking presidential candidate team.

How about a carpool sort of list to try and get 100% turnout for Paul supporters in Iowa and NH?

I think we should have a "FTW" (For The Win) Moneybomb Day in honor of our internet roots. :)

operation chatterbox: bring it to the streets.

We need to have a domino effect ASAP.

This is actually a pretty intriguing idea . . . not sure it's what you had in mind, but how about people partner up on buses / subways / elevators, etc. -- namely places with briefly captive audiences where you either talk up Ron Paul's finer points or even take on a roles of "candidate X supporter" and "Ron Paul supporter" for a mini-debate specifically designed to hype up Paul.

Remember the movie "Ghost", where Patrick Swayze and the other guy started talking about "the rash" in the elevator, and everyone overheard? I'm thinking something similar to that.

Basically an idea of product placement but in society at large.

"OPERATION CHATTERBOX" Good stuff.

I suggest a large scale "civil rights" style march on one of the major media headquarters as a show of solidarity in condemnation of the obvious and blatant bias in reporting Ron Paul in an unfavorable light and the main stream media's failure in its obligation to report fairly and accurately on candidates running for the presidency.

Our enemy is ourselves and the media. Ourselves if we think the lack of reporting or when they do report, it is too ridiucle and dismiss, will cease. And the media for laughing at you because you sat and did nothing. Money bombs are awesome, and youtube videos is great, and ad campaigns are dandy. but the media won't let Ron Paul win, and I know deep inside, you all know it.

2-3 weeks to go and then it is all over. Or we can we can show America the movement has large scale support and balls to challenge the business as usual attitude. When timid Americans see us marching for truth, all is won and the campaign is saved. The timid will join us. Trust me. We need to let America know that it is not ok to let a select few elect for the majority. This is insane.

DVD/pizza parties.

Invite ten friends to your house for free pizza and drinks. Let them know there will be a 30 minute video on Presidential candidate Ron Paul. Be open for questions afterwards but don't be afraid to say "I don't know." if you don't.

Have slimjims and other campaign literature available.

Recruit those who want to to do the same with their friends, offer to be a resource at their Ron Paul party for the Q/A session.

Mention at the party that you are doing this because the MSM is blacking out Ron Paul despite record breaking fund raising. (Depends on your audience)

Educate, educate, educate.

The stage of gimmicks is over guys, we got the money we need.
It is now time to focus on becoming delegates and doing the door-to-door thing.

I'm serious... I have much experience in campaigning. It is time to dismiss gimmicks and get boots on the ground.
