In that light Kristol was advocating for Krauthammer to not "talk up" the significance of Paul (basically advocating for a blackout) then Krauthammer bitchslapped him and rebuked him that he was merely commenting on the situation and that analysis of the ongoing matter didn't amount to hyping or promoting of Paul's relevance.
