Also I must say I seemed to be getting less and less religious until I got involved with Ron Paul, but then I started learning about what is really going on in politics, and how they want to chip everyone and stuff, and its remarkable how similar it is to some of the stuff I have heard about Revelation.

I mean I would think even athiests out there would have to read that part about the mark in Revelation, and then see the stuff about implantable microchips and stop and wonder for a second... lol at least a second right? (Not trying to annoy any athiests, please don't start off about how illogical church, the Bible, and other things are or anything like that.... be nice lol)

Christians debate on this ourselves young vs. old earth theory. I subscribe to a young earth, ~6000-8000 years old for many reasons.

Yes dinosaurs were on the arc ... dont assume they were full grown, try babies, much easier to handle and take care of. And it was not every species, but every kind. huge difference. Ie. 1 dog. the dalmatian, dachshund, and doberman all had a common ancestor .... a dog

i just read this entire thread...im currently at a seventh day adventist school....im forced to take a religion course...so im taking the gospels...now coming into the clss and the school in general i was very uncomfortable about learning about religion...i thought of religion as basically the first form of government...but now halfway thru the semester i reallydont kno what to believe....

The point of this thread was for me to learn about Christanity and form my own beliefs about the world. Its good to get both sides but not in argumentive way where you guys are pointing the finger and using provactice language. You guys are letting eachother belifs seperate yall when you should be using it to grow from eachother. This isn't true and you should stop deceiving yourself. Atheists believe that religion is the cause of all the biggest problems in the world and if they could they would be rid of it completely.


I agree with a lot of you that Christianity has been hijacked and distorted to suit the needs of those who would control the masses. This is why I don't go to church. This is why I don't listen to Christian radio anymore and this is why I only very seldom listen to any so-called Bible teacher or preacher anymore. There is one I like (Ravi Zacharias) but I don't hear him too much anymore since I stopped listening to the radio.

I still can't really understand the viciousness of the atheists here who insist on hijacking the "fairytale religious threads." If you don't believe it, if you are so enlightened, what gives you the idea that attacking Christians is going to convert them to your faithless lifestyle? Grow up and mind your own business.
