Very interesting link, thanks for sharing. I have a friend who believes that fiat money could be the mark of the beast. I disagree but it's an interesting thought to consider.

The mark may be a small bar code place on a person's body. It will be used for indentity and to make transactions. Without you will not be able to buy or sell anything. They already have the technology. They can make recievers that can scan a bar code up to 200 yards. They are trying to expand the distance of the technology to able to use it from orbit via radio waves.

They will be asking for a cashless society and use fears of Identity theft to help push it on the sheeple.

A second beast mentioned in the Bible is a two horned lamb (or Ram). The beast here also is not an animal but symbolic of something else. One horn on the beast represents the United Sates. The other horn represents England. The body of the lamb represents Christianity (Jesus is refered as the lamb in the bible) because the U.S. and England are supposedly 'Christian Nations'. The false prophet is suppose to be Christian poser.

I don't think the mark is a bar code. We've come way beyond that technology. The mark will be in-- not on-- the right hand or forehead of every person. The mark can be substituted with the name of the beast or the number of his name. Some say that our social security numbers are the mark already, they just haven't been inserted yet. I agree that they want a cashless society. Identity theft, terrorism, the war on drugs and organized crime are all excuses they will use.

Chapter 17 describes the great whore as sitting upon many waters, with whom all the kings of the earth have fornicated and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. The merchants weep because no one is buying their merchandise anymore-- which all the articles listed in chapter 12 are nonessentials. Chapter 13 lists necessities from food to medicine to vehicles to slaves to souls of men.

Babylon falls in one hour. Babylon is the financial system and a great city. Chapter 21 describes the end of Babylon, cast down with violence and found no more. No more entertainment, no more craftsmen, no more mills. Chapter 18 verse 23: "... thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by their sorceries were all nations deceived."

It has to do with refuting that the End Of Times is nigh. I used the introduction of your post as a platform to make another point. I apprehend Holy Roller eagerness to accept the End Of Times so long as it's THEIR rendition. I will argue that man's vanity and insecurity makes him rush to a Judgment that is being orchestrated and marketed by Bad Guys...Moneychangers, if you will...as a final Madison Avenue hurrah to their own amazingness. Yes, and I'm all for people being able to practice whatever they want. I am adamantly against any form of religious influence in the public arena, especially government however.

When I speak of religious freedom and atheism, I speak on the individual level. I believe freedom from religion as an individual is grasping the obvious truth about the universe and is extremely liberating to do what you want and create the own meaning in your life.

So people are free to be religious just as long as they are only religious in private? That doesn't sound like religious freedom to me. I think you need to re-examine your understanding of the concept of freedom. Personally, I think the public arena is the perfect place for both atheists and theists to express themselves and their beliefs freely.
