It's sad that the media (I've been watching CNN for a few hours now) still discusses Thompson and Giuliani as if they're ahead of Paul. Pathetic.
I'm sorry to say this, but it seems like our standards for what constitutes success keep getting lower and lower.
I like your optimism, and I hope you're right.
BTW--I can honestly say I've never had anyone say "rubbish" to me. I've heard it in movies, but I didn't know anyone actually uses it in real life. Now I'm just waiting for some to exclaim, "Balderdash!!!!"

Our standards, at least for those of us who truely understand this movement, is to spread the message Ron Paul is advocating. Win or lose, it is the message that needs to keep spreading, not the man.
We are trying our best to help Dr. Paul win in every state, but the fact that we have beaten Guiliani twice and Thompson twice, and Ron Paul is 4th in total votes of all the contests to date should tell you something about how far and how wide this campaign of freedom has spread.
Despite the MSM black-out, and MSM smear, and MSM belittlement, we the grassroots, has been able to do something truely amazing. And that is to keep the message of Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty alive, despite the overwhelming odds against us.
After South Carolina, these 4 candidates (Thompson - Huckabee - Romney - McCain) will have to make a decision. No Money left, so 1 of them will have to bow out, and that means we move up with Guiliani betting his whole campagin on Florida. If Guiliani loses Florida, he is done. So now another front runner is out. You can see how this will play out. They drop out, we hang in and move up.
Ron Paul has not spent any money and I think they are waiting to see how this plays out in South Carolina, Nevada, and Florida. Super Duper Tuesday is where the campaign is hedging its bet to move up into top tier contention among who ever is left.
Hang in there my friend. This is exciting stuff. St. Paul, Minnesota will be a madhouse with no clear front runner and the delegates there will face a decision. Who will they nominate ? I don't know about you, but I am planning to be there during the convention to make sure the delegates understand who I want nominated. 10, 20, 30 thousand Ron Paul supporters around that convention center will ensure our voices are heard. Be there !

I'm not trying to offend.....I just don't think a 6% finish is that great just because it happens to beat a 4% finish and a 2% finish. We need more than 6% of the voting public to be on board with us.
We're getting there....there's still alot of states to go....this is not a sprint, its a marathon, as another poster commented earlier.
I'll bet Rudy is celebrating in drag tonightI'll take a guess and say Carl Cameron is his escort

CNN said:Despite receiving little support from Michigan, Giuliani was happy, according to Steve Forbes, the national co-chair of the Giuliani campaign.
Giuliani has largely skipped the early voting states and devoted his resources to Florida and the delegate-rich "Super Tuesday" states that hold primaries February 5.
"I think the McCain defeat tonight simply underscores how volatile this race is -- how fluid it is, and also underscores how wise Rudy Giuliani was to focus on Florida. We're going to do very well [in Florida]. That means he'll do well on February 5, and that means we're going to get the nomination," Forbes said.

The Ghoul has never recovered after Paul gave him that reading assignment.Ron Paul has really hurt Giuliani's campaign, probably fatally so. Thats a big victory in my eyes.
