Article suggesting GOP establishment worried about its candidates

One final solution is a committment on our part to NO ONE BUT PAUL. We hold all the cards. THe elites have so many times experessed their concerns (FEARS) that Ron will run as an indpendent. If he did and it cost the GOP the election he will forever go down as one of the most hated individuals in Republican Party history.

I would much rather that they hate me and you and if we committed to NO ONE BUT Paul and made it public at every opportunity BEFORE all the primaries the average voters might recoginize that they have but two choices. Nominate Ron Paul or live with the certainty of another four years of Obama.

I've often thought that Santorum has been underestimated. As Gingrich gets knocked out because of his scandal-happy past and Romney proves to be a failure at uniting the party, Santorum will be their final option. He's a warmongering neoconservative and a devout statist social conservative, the two main ingredients that the GOP establishment loves.

Except no one likes him. They'll have to turn him into a bisexual DMT-advocate to give him a shot at beating Obama to make his clear warmongering even halfway acceptable.

Santorum isn't on that list and, surprise, surprise, I am starting to see stories talking him up as a 'dark horse' or 'sleeper' (Rubin for example). Those people aren't worried Ron CAN'T win, they are worried about his 'the American people over the special interests' approach to governing if he DOES win.
Coincidence theorist. ;)

So maybe the GOP establishment really is behind the various candidates' travails becoming public.

So maybe the GOP establishment actually wants Obama to win after all. This is something I have being thinking for a while now. The candidates are terrible except for Dr. Paul. Cain, Romney, Bachmann, Perry, Santorum, Gingrich are all deeply flawed. Huntsman is flawed mostly due to his politics/philosophies. Only Dr. Paul is a statesman among these RINO clowns.

Ole Frothy will be gone after Iowa. Likely Bachman, Cain't as well, and maybe Newty if he does as bad in IA as I think he might.

commented, waiting moderation

"Just noting the fact that Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who is beating Obama with Independents in head to head polling, not Romney."

I commented also, but haven't had it appear yet. How long does it take? I suspect I may not have met the cut. :(
