How did she take it?
I bring up ideas like moving to Switzerland, or Costa Rica, and that's where I lose her.

I'm curious to know the answer too. It's a shame that people have to entertain thoughts of leaving their own country and culture. As for me, I'll go down fighting.

The vast majority of primary voters seemed to either think he had absolutely no chance or that he was a kook. 30 second TV ads wouldn't have changed minds, although a very clever ad might have gotten non voters (who don't follow politics) out to vote for him. The campaign did the right thing by concentrating on caucus states (where we had the best chance) and on radio ads (whose audience is much more likely to vote, pays more attention to the message (instead of feel), and is generally more deliberative).

Well,

A: This might help with the immigration problem.

B: Dollar cost averaging baby! Buy on the dips is what I am trying to say.

C: I am going to pay off my car. I have a year left on it.

D: I will be buying a house when the market hits bottom.

If you have a new car and owe more than 2 years left on it, pay it off ASAP, if you have a home with more than 2 to 3 years left owed, sell it, or let it get foreclosed on, because if Dr Paul isnt president, this economy in the next 18 months is TOAST, as is probably 25% of the jobs MINIMUM... not to mention kiss your investments and money to spend goodbye!

The FCC has so many complaints, that if they are not doing anything, we should personally sue whoever is in charge. They were supposed to forward my complaint to the legal dept, and I haven't gotten my inquiries returned as of yet.

I think we, as ALL OF US, need to start suing the crap out of those huge networks/ companies!
Trust me, the average working American doesn't have a clue about it! They think the media is he fairest thing. I know, because I was one of them!

In other words, Box 3. I dont want to give up on Box 2, but have a growing feeling that it may go all the way to 4.

It was a good campaign strategy for 1952.
Mailers? LMAO
HQ reminds me of Mike Tyson's entourage who milked him for hundreds of millions and left him broke lol

Well..WHY does no one listen? That is a fantastic idea!!! Picket signs at their studios for a week or so...LOTS of people. In their lobby, outside their door..across the street, whatever!

See what i mean? Post after post and it gets blown by.... The idea is like Ron Paul's MSM Blackout. Most tend to do the talk but not the walk.....

Exactly, this is why his campaign showed its sheer stupidity...the media cast him as a "9/11 truther" and "hanging out with the 9/11 truthers" and what does the campaign do? They back out of interviews with people like Glenn Beck and Neal Boortz, but repeatedly go on Alex Jones' program. More than 75% of the commercials they produced(I'm being nice here) were crappy and shouldn't have been run.

I like 2 and 3. Hope not to go to 4 as I love peace. But nobody said some fire woudn't help.:D

The GOP is just as guilty as the media if not more so. They made no rules for the networks to have even though they were airing the debates in their name and allowed them to have biased coverage (or were they complicit?). We can go on about insecure voting machines the party chose to use and the accusations of behind the scenes manipulation with delegate brokering, and the fact that the GOP has grown the size of the government ever since 1900 although they say that they are conservative.

There is one ruling class. The whole 2 party concept (that wasn't around when the Constitution was written) was invented and made a part of the system to give you an illusion of choice to make you think you have a voice. Think about it, approval ratings go down, another party gets office but the overall agenda stays the same. They are setting up McCain to be the Manchurian candidate to run against the Democratic winner to lose without bringing up vital systemic issues... and in the end we will have a Democrat as president and the illusion that we voted for change and the machine will get to grow stronger while the American people think DC will change.

"There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution." – John Adams

Those glossy 12 page bio things were pretty good and the voter guides were excellent (too bad I wasn't able to get any here in Georgia!)

I fully agree, I have gotten it in the past mself!

I believe in a velvet revolution at this point. Patriots all over our country need to picket these stations. Signs saying Ron Paul Blackout, Media decides whos voice you may hear, Media will not tell the truth and so on. Americans do not like to take to the streets but we must. I have done it for 2 years fighting illegal immigration (with my husband an American of Mexican descent)This is another way for our voices to be heard.

The MSM hijacked this election.

Plain and simple. Imagine the exposure if Paul had gotten fair coverage.

It's a bad dream realizing thier power and influence over the people.

Your right. But please let's all put our ideas on the table. There must be something we haven't tired!!

I love the message, but I'm angry.

I never got the feeling that Ron Paul wanted to win. I kind of feel as though he felt pressured into running, and then obligated to finish. I'm also angry that he spent over $20,000,000 and all I saw from it was two commercials the night of the primary in MN. I'm angry that the media ignored him until tonight, just to make a headline saying that he won't run as a third party candidate and that he's dedicated to being a republican. I'm angry that he's saving face in order to save his job. That's what the GOP as a whole is doing in Iraq right now. That's why McCain is getting the nomination. None of this feels right. Ron Paul knows the message but I don't think he's the man I hoped he was. Otherwise he would have rub third party instead of giving up. His last few emails have been so defeated. And so am I.

Good luck.

Massive boycott on a grand scale. Money talks. Threaten every single one of the networks sponsors that you will refuse to do business with them because they are supporting so-and-so network. The sponsors get enough complaints, they'll start pulling their sponsorship from the networks.
