Well, I'm now an official veteran of my first ever Apple Seed.
It was the neatest thing I've done in many, many years.
I didn't quite make Rifleman. Maybe next time. I'm DEFINITELY going again this year. In the meantime, I have a TON of information to digest and practice.
If anyone's even remotely on the fence about attending one of these: GO! Just a great learning experience.
I think the best part is that I got to feel patriotic again, an emotion I've been sorely lacking for a good number of years now. To know that there are so many people who still care, is heartening to say the least.
