Anyone good with cars?

Hey folks,

I need to get a day off work. I'm sorry this may seem very bad to most people but under the circumstances you probably would agree with me (long story).

I was thinking along the lines of car trouble, that way I could simply use tomorrow as an emergency holiday. However, I don't know much about cars to make up a good enough excuse, anyone know any minor problem I could have with my car that would need a little work at the garage. Obviously I can't say I wreaked my car because I'm going to be using it Tuesday...

Sorry about the craziness of this post...Anyone that could help me would be most appreciated!

Only problem with that is that I can walk just down the road and get a new battery in about an hour...

Yeah, I hate to do it but I just gotta, I'm sure you've been in these spots.
