Wasn't Dr Paul supposed to speak at a rally today at the University of New Hampshire?

Any news?

Good turnout?

I think this was happening at 7PM, but not sure. I just saw on the ticker on Tucker, that "Ron Paul is answering questions at UNH, Durham."

I hope it was a good turnout, and it went well. Anyone have any other news on this?

pathetic. If ron is in NH, it needs to be on the website so that all of the people of NH know he's there! wtf?

I was there. I counted the people. There were 20+ rows of 20, so more than 400! Most of them were obviously NOT RP supporters (yet) because it was the most subdued crowd I have ever witnessed. But that's fine. They were listening and absorbing his message, which to many "first-timers" can be like listening to a foreign language. But he was received well and had a Q&A session for almost an hour afterwards. Excellent questions and excellent answers of course. Remember this guy? http://youtube.com/watch?v=NY6UTnS6Z-A He asked RP about med marijuana and RP said "I will never allow the federal government to prosecute anyone for marijuana usage" (or something to that effect). This got a huge applause!!

Steven Rogers, and the folks at the Students for Ron Paul group did a great job. I spoke to Steve afterwards and he said 35-40 people signed up to join the group!

Huge success!!!!!!!!!

Frankly, subdued town halls is what we need. The sycophant rallies are fun, I must admit, but we need to get him in front of fresh voters. Great news, thanks for the action report!

Amen.

It was 2:45-3:30pm today, and every seat was full, so any more advertising would have just resulted in disappointed people. :)

It's amazing to pull in 400 w/o even advertising it. Like Ron said, "we're on auto-pilot."

I think the actual number was 350. I got this from Kate Rick, who works for the campaign here in NH. Also, the fire department was turning people away as soon as all the seats were filled. One guy from the row ahead of me left with about 15 minutes to go, and as soon as he did the fire dept let in a woman who was waiting outside the whole time.

I think they turned away 25+ people who asked to get in. They didn't even let them hang around outside the doors because it was a supposed fire hazard.

It was advertised on campus. Every building I went to had notices posted on the bulletin boards. There was also a manned table set up outside the MUB with Ron Paul signs and other information about the event. The auditorium is also right next to a food court, so lots of people got a chance to wander past and pick up slim-jims and other information at the campaign table.

Also, I saw 2 people from the first television ad. Unfortunately neither was the "He's catching on!" guy. It was two of the students -- the guy walking inbetween two girls, and the girl on his left that said "He wants to get us out of Iraq -- pronto."

I was veeeeeery tempted to go up to them and say, "Hey! I saw you on TV. Can I have your autograph?" :D
