If Obama is a Muslim, he's doing a really bad job of living by his religion.

That's part of the diguise. He is ACTING like just another murderous pretend-Christian so at the right moment he can pull off the mask and reveal that he is the Great, Infallible Imam, activate millions of sleeper cells of militant jihadists masquerading as landscapers and dishwashers, and initiate Sharia and the Global Caliphate.

The only time I am ever excluded by language from any conversation that is properly any of my business in the first place, is when two or more of my Mexican co-workers are intentionally teasing me. Which is totally fair because I tease them at every opportunity. And if the day ever came when I was in trouble in some way, I am confident that they would be the first in line to help me in any way they could.

My experience is the same as yours and kcchiefs6465's- except my Spanish is pretty good.

And the Mexican families I know seem to have much more in the way of "American Values" than most American families, nowadays.

You do know that basic principles of freedom are not common in THIS culture, right? That's why we have a drug war and socialism and crony-capitalism and domestic spying and everybody knows it and nobody CARES!!!! I'm really wondering where people get the idea that Americans are paragons of libertarian virtue that is being diluted by immigrants. I see no evidence of that whatsoever.



I am surrounded by Mexicans in my job and my community and I have never noticed any of this. Or perhaps I just don't care if I am included in everyone's conversation all the time?

By the way, you didn't answer my question. What major problem in the USA will be cured by increased border security such that this issue needs to be front and center in the national debate?
