Well, it would do two things for us. It would demonstrate that we have the numbers to make a difference if we can stop acting like a herd of cats long enough to put our entire weight to work toward a specific goal--whether we all consider it the perfect goal or not. And it would demonstrate that it is possible to shove some impressive numbers through the Diebold filter and onto a third party--assuming, of course, that this really is possible and Diebold doesn't have a 'minimum duopoly stop-loss' function to their programming.
Something to be said for us acting like a bloc long enough to demonstrate that we have electoral muscle. Of course, if half of us insist on shoving east and half of us insist on shoving west, no one will ever discover that we have electoral muscle because we'll cancel ourselves out forever...
