An Uneasy Feeling...

Here's the thing about the Mayan Calendar thing though, their calendar and writings never said it would be the end of the world, or that mankind would cease to exist. What was written was that it would be the end of one life cycle and the beginning of another, what that life cycle would be like, no indication was given. Looking back over the last couple weeks, and the drastic things that have happened and are happening, a very distinct change in our everyday world is almost a certainty. So don't be so quick to dismiss what the Mayans were trying to say.

Ya the "end of the world" stuff seems to come from the media. Those in touch with the cosmos all know the Mayan Calendar was talking about something else.

The more I read the news, the more I get that feeling. The less I read the news, the less I get that feeling.

So, is it just me, or does anyone else still have some sort of "gut feeling" that something is coming?

Have you tried a laxative?

Seriously though, whether something is coming or not, worrying about it does no good. If you are in a position to get to a "safe place" in the country and live there for a while until you think everything is OK, that is an option, although some might think you are a nut for doing so, but if it makes you feel better, then go for it if you can. If you are not in a position to go anywhere, then the next best thing is to just be aware and try to enjoy the here and now. Nobody is promised a future, so make the most of the present.

The mayans simply ran out of rock to carve a calendar in. I don't buy into the hole mayan thing. But its fun to think about.

Here's the thing. The whole "Mayan thing" speak is a meme in and of itself and that particular language actually justifies the notion that many have no clue what made them special. Few understand that these people were of a civiization far more advanced than common society today relative to the understanding of the physics of the Universe. Heck, through time we have devolved intellectually as a whole in understanding what they knew about it. Organized Religion has aided in that process and sort of hijacked history and do continue the shenanigans in my view.

An apocalypse (Ancient Greek: ἀποκάλυψις apocálypsis, from ἀπό and καλύπτω meaning 'un-covering'), translated literally from Greek, is a disclosure of knowledge, hidden from humanity in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception, i.e., a lifting of the veil or revelation....
