VishIX, like anybody else who starts a thread, is entitled to their opinion. You can either participate in the thread or ignore it. You and evandi have basically just hijacked this thread. The OP made some very valid points. There are many many posts on these forums regarding people's opinions on matters that will NEVER have any material impact on the campaign.

But since we are a community of people who all have a common interest in RP, we all have opinions and like to share them with others. There are lots of threads here that I ignore, but I don't go to those threads that don't interest me and sabotage or hijack them.

You have posted more times than me so please don't accuse me of "hijacking" anything. Secondly I responded to him because he lied and said what he is doing is constructive criticism. If he really believes that he is going to influence the way Ron Paul handles himself then I believe in the Easter Bunny..

Go to the other hundreds of positive threads about the debate . I would regret even bumping this post if I didn't know everyone is already all excited over this silly thread. I'd take a bullet for Ron. He is my hero (as corny as it sounds) but dont expect me ,or others, to conform to your wants. You arnt the decider.

PS. When I see a real troll (one who actually is a troll) I report the thread. Why waste your time crying "troll" and , in the case of our buddy evandi , act like a kid for 30 pages ?

If the OP made a poor decision in the original title, well, you can beat a person up over that, but you still can't ignore the content of the posting.

Naw, it wasn't that. It was really negative.. It called everybody who disagreed with him a fanboy and claimed to be the only real analysis. It is interesting that now he would protest at being called troll after prematurely labelling everybody a fanboy very disgracefully. He also used some caps.

I wasn't even attracted to the other thread. The word "performance" sort of implies some sort of criticism as a thread title, but I am not there, I am here.

I sat down both debates and this is how I felt about each of their performance.

Dr. Ron Paul - C. Why? Although his policy and message is unflappable, sadly his delivery in this debate was underwhelming and at times confused and too convoluted. He did come back though and I think his strongest showing was the constitutional question which actually drew some applause from the audience. It maybe the fatigue setting in, I dunno, but a far cry from his performances in the earlier debates where he compelled presence and respect.

Rudy Guillani - B. Within the context of his deeply flawed platform, I thought he did well, especially in regards to justifying his primitive foreign policy. He won a lot of points with the Neo-Cons and I felt some of his defenses against immigration (sanctuary city) were pretty well delivered and realized.

John McCain - C-. Sleepy, disjointed and too concerned with attacking Romney then highlighting what his policy philosophy and plans were. His immigration stance is terrible and his subsequent defense of it was also confusing and ambivalent.

Romney - D. Absolutely terrible, though a large part of it to no fault of his own. With constant attacks from Huckabee and McCain, I felt he lost his focus and composure and looked visibly upset and agitated. What was up with all the time the moderator allowed him? He made him look worse!

Mike Huckabee - C. Nothing new, also a second thought in the debate. He made a few humorous jabs and I thought his response to the Obama questions was perhaps his most eloquent, but again he had nothing to offer and was perhaps suffering from the redundancy of his "principle" platform.

Thompson - B+. His performance, especially in context of the structure of the debate was the best and also the most focused. He answered a lot of the questions, mostly directly and I felt he was easily the most relaxed there. Although his acerbic jab at Ron Paul was not well received by me, I felt he did have a tremendously good showing given the fact that most of the other debates he fails to show up.


Although I was disappointed with the debate performance of Ron Paul, I hope the people of NH are open and curious to see and learn about his real policy (especially his economic policy which to my disgust was not discussed once here!).

I am voicing my opinion. I am sure the campaign reads these forums and word will get to him. I think what I did was that I articulated my arguments with logic and reason and since the fanboys have no rebuttals and do not want to acknowledge that it could be an issue, you resort to personal attacks and trolling.

Even if he is 72, he can still rehearse and practice If you guys want to stay in the fringe 10%-15%, keep doing what you are doing, but I want RP to win. I want him to be the next president. If the next president can't stand up for his views and get Rudy to shut his mouth, he's not gonna be president.

We know RP is capable, you've seen the youtube video w/ the fat kid. He needs to bring out the passion and articulate it better.

Okay everyone that disapproves of this thread let it die. Maybe HQ will use the search function to find it.

Yes I am only replying to valid posts now. Evandi and Nerveshocker (or Samneric, as I think of them) aren't contributing anything constructive and have no credibility as to being intelligent or analytical.

Actually we're ignoring neither, and calling him a troll because of both. His "content" is the opposite of what the majority of Ron Paul supporters on the forums saw(look at the polls). He belittled other's opinions by saying he had the "REAL ANALYSIS" yes.. it was caps. He did that of course to get attention.. which was successful. He said Rudy Guiliani won (Forget him being a troll isn't that enough reason to ban?). Joking of course.. (somewhat)
Really his entire post seemed to be the opposite of reality and even if it were true.. he was actually telling us what Ron Paul should do to improve HIS performance.. like we can do anything about it..? This is completely out of our hands and well.. just silly. I'm glad he changed the title because it was quite disrespectful but very strategic... (especially how fast you changed it). Sorry I know a troll when I see one.. people troll all the time and even the admins have warned about it...

You don't know that he isn't, and the thread title coupled with the meat of his post implies that he is. If he is not, great. But perhaps he should not insult everyone who disagrees with him before any debate whatsoever.
