Sorry to hear about that. I was a high school teacher for the past 7 years and was laid off this June. I was on unemployment for the past 3 or so months and getting paid around $400 a week to do nothing. I've got a B.S. with a History major, and I couldn't find anything even after putting out probably around 60 applications. The only people that wanted to hire me were the IRS, the U.S. Forest Service, and a car dealership. Now I'm selling cars, because my stupid principles won't let me work for the federal government.
Anyways, I feel your pain. It's a bad time to be without a job.
