Alex Jones "Moneybomb".

Well I'm donating to Alex and Adam and Rand, they all deserve it.

Did he not get a new studio?
Does he not run 2 shows now? (bermas' infowarrior)
Is he not coming out with 2 new movies?
How awesome would it be to see an Alex Jones flick with image stabilization?
How far do you think $220,000 goes?

I'm sure he's stocked up on merchandise to sell (bought bulk for higher profits) as well, but why waste 220,000 and not recreate a returning revenue stream?
1000's of movie copies, 1000's of t-shirts...

Can anyone tell me how much a 7,000+ sqft office space leases/sells for in Austin? I see $8 to $18 a sqft/yr, so conservatively thats $56,000 a year in rent alone, not including staff.

Yes he got a new studio, but not a tv show on satellite, and that was what was said would be done. A quarter of a million dollars goes a long way.

Two good video cameras @ 1k each = 2000
A few desks cost about 500
1k tshirts should only cost about 4$each 4000
dvd duplication should be about 1$ each so 1000
heres some office space for 3k a mo 3000
http://austin.craigslist.org/off/1158571738.html
a couple monitors and lcd tvs maybe 3000
you can buy 5 new quadcore cpu's from dell 3000
5*500 ea + 500 extra for a hard drive or memory additions

so we have about $16,500
I'm sure there are other costs, but you can double or triple this amount and still have nowhere close to 220k

he just had a moneybomb last year. he promised a full accounting of it, but hasn't delivered. Liberty Candidate's moneybombs are more important

You forgot about crew salaries. Electric, phone and website bills.

LOL!! You definitely have too much time on your hands. Did you scrutinize Ron Paul's campaign like this?

You better apply for a bean counters job for the government, we need someone, just like you, that has a keen knack of knowing where every penny goes!;)

lol.

i reckon the same could be said of congressional candidates.

so why doesn't a.j. need the bread again?

i smell a conflict of interest.

in the past, a.j. has given me pause, but i certainly appreciate the work he does.

imo, funding education via the dissemination of information (and one more tion for the hell of it) is far more valuable than any exploratory committee (not that it's worth arguing about, but since you felt it necessary to poo-poo a.j.'s efforts, why not?)

.....................

good luck, a.j.

Yep, I donated before.

Those items are recurring costs that he had before the money bomb and should have been paid for with the money that already comes in every month from sponsors, subscriptions, and other sales. The purpose of the money bomb was for a new venture.

This...

I didn't mean to "hate on" alex's effort, if that's how i came across.

I guess it's just my personal opinion, that other efforts are more important right now, than boosting an already profitable organization.

You are off with your quote, way off.

I saw roughly 15 computers, not counting laptops. The 2 g5's (im sure they have nice apple cinema monitors as well).

He has 3 cameras just in the studio for different angles, not including hand cameras, and they are more than 1k each not counting the lens etc.

You went to craigslist for commercial realestate? LOL, I shoppped on at least 3 Austin realestate websites, the going rate is 8 - 18 bucks a sqft a year, his place wasn't a dump so I'd say it falls somewhere in between there.

You tell me who will package and write a dvd professionally for $1 a piece, including printing (on the cd and dvd covers) and I'll be a rich man.

3 men to run the studio behind the scenes for each live show at least 8 hours a day each and 2 full time web designers. (I'm sure they each make more than 15 an hour conservatively 30k+ a year each.)

Jason Bermas' salary (which is a new addition thanks to the money bomb)

3 writers

Terrabytes of storage, lots of them. Servers etc. Travel costs...

And you're assuming everything is a 1 time cost, some are reoccurring.

Alex allows people to openly make copies and give away his DVDs. He sells them and surely makes profits, but of course, he wouldn't be able to spread his message the way he is if he didn't make money. Hardware to run his shows and websites as professionally as he does is QUITE expensive. He is a hard working dude with good intentions. I wouldn't donate directly though with a moneybomb. Doesn't make sense. That money could help somebody get into Congress instead. I still support the guy, even if he does make emotionally exaggerated claims and goes off on nonsense rants. He deserves the money.

Like I said, the moneybomb was advertised to pay for new equipment and to have a tv show. Not pay for recurring costs that already existed, and that are already paid with via radio sponsors and dvd sales. Your 10 additional computers still only takes 7k. 1TB drives are 100 bucks each, so go ahead and spend another 7k and buy 70 of them. Still nowhere near a quarter million dollars

discs alone 1k for 800
http://cgi.ebay.com/DVD-Duplication...0?hash=item2c4a8223cd&_trksid=p3286.m20.l1116

here is 1.60 each retail ready and just buying 100, I am sure if you buy ten or 20 times that much, or actually search the web more you can get a price break

on a semi related note- As far as a satellite tv show, I think an iptv network would be much a much better solution now, there are alot more with the bandwidth now, and the prices for boxes have come down also, and you are able to program the box to watch feeds from all over the internet, kind of like tversity or appletv w/ boxee is doing

Like I said, the moneybomb was advertised to pay for new equipment and to have a tv show.

And it did, it's on the internet. Now that the Beta testing is complete, it's ready for the next step of a wider range distribution.

One must learn to walk before learning to run.

I love the guy. Everyday he goes through dozens of news articles and claims the New World Order owns the media but he gets most of his material from "them".

He goes "OMG, You can read it for yourselvess! Do your RESEARCHH!! Look at these articles.. they are LAUGHING at our faces!! OMG@#@!@!11!"

Me thinks Alex Jones is already a wealthy man.
And so many are just itching to give him more.

If he gets most of his material through controlled sources, then isn't AJ controlled too? Doesn't the logic simply follow?

Yes, because once you realize the whole agenda, you realize that most of it is done in plain view. And, once you are able to see this, you will also notice that the globalists are an arrogant bunch. An example of this is how they railroaded Ron Paul's Campaign.

Yes, that is what V-Rod is incorrectly stating.

See Donnay's post above.
But AJ does NOT show the "entire agenda."

What he shows, and how he spins it, is designed to create fear and learned helplessness in the minds of his audience.

Good Lord! It is incumbent for you to research the information yourself!

Alex E. Jones is a messenger in the same fashion Paul Revere was! Quit psychoanalyzing more into it--because you are starting to sound like a conspiracy theorists!
