ALERT!!! Luntz just told the world to come to RP sites...

To "see how they treat people that disagree with them"

If I were to give this forum a grade based on acceptance of new or opposing ideas, then I would want to give it a C, but after thinking about some other political forums and sights I've been too, the curve might push that up to a B+

I have not seen anything bad recently, and TBH can not recall anything specific either way.

In my experience, people do get testy on occasion, but in comparison to the sites people like Hannity and Rush have-well, there is no comparison.

Luntz said this in his usual snarky tone.

My experience here:

1. Non supporter shows up, makes post and gets respectfully truth-bombed.

2. Non supporter gets mad, starts calling people names.

3. Non supporter gets truth bombed again and then their feelings hurt, then they leave.

Free market in action.

Lol, isn't that the truth. Trying being a Ron Paul supporter on some other websites!

Attention Newbies, this is the "inside joke" as to why people say "FU Frank".

Frank probably doesn't like it, but this is where it comes from:

You beat me to it! +rep

I find that hard to do on the internet. I can (and do) go tp my county GOP meetings, and while the people there may not share my politics, they're at least cordial. People on the internet are a lot meaner.

IMO, there are no meaner people anywhere on the internet than HotAir. Hateful, vicious, awful rhetoric, for the most part. And that's the most popular righty blog on the internet, but I actually doubt they'd be that horrid to anyone's face.

Most people have very poor netiquette.

Yeah they are-they sometimes say stuff that makes even this sailor blush.

who cares , people come here and a percentage will be converted
the new phase of the media taking notice of paul is backfiring on them as shown by his facebook likes over the past week

Nice Thread... Incredible amount of great posts and informative.

Try dialog on Romney chat and you're banned... same goes for Sean's Hannity.com forum... even the so-called liberal un-understanding Huffington Post and Underground Democracy bans people that challenge anything... even if it's intelligent discussions and dialog, no matter how justified... BOOM, not tolerated!
Those sites are all about, 'Our Way or the Highway' quite un-American, eh? Here @ RPF, anyone can come in, join, post, as long as they have civil discussions and/or respective dialog post away.

This site has great dialog with opposing candidate's supporters... Many Romney supporters i.e.. Some former Romney supporters are now Ron Paul supporters. ;)

One of the biggest assets of this FORUM... informing and teaching people what's truly happening in this country with facts, references, examples, education, experience, and wisdom. There may be disagreements and even arguments, but at least there's dialog and everyone is learning. There's nothing better than well informed people, capibile of critical thinking, to make the correct decisions/choice.

There's more credibility on this site than any of the colluding and conspiring corporate media and their so-called reporting. Some reporting was so ridiculously fraudulent against Ron Paul, the Comedy Channel dedicated entire episodes on FOX BLACKOUTS and BIAS Broadcasts. Oh, and that goes for the clowns @ 30 Rock(NBC/MSNBC), Capital Cities, and finally the CNN in Atlanta gang.

Great post. The great thing about this forum is that we WANT to debate. We WANT to have the discussion. And this forum is one of the most open political forums on the web today.

Honestly, I have seen some pretty brutal stuff said on these forums. It needs to stop, because it can (and will) be used against us.

Know what? Once they pass the indefinite detention law I'm already gone. So, I might as well get a few more digs in while I can. Right?

Today I heard him telling Hannity that he's always shocked about how much money Ron gets from his supporters and that he wouldn't be surprised if Ron wins Iowa.

Yeah Frank - unlike the Hannity forums or Redstate and their open door policy for people that disagree with them.

What a moron. I challenge him to find a more open forum of diverse members supporting ANY other candidate or party.

Funny thing is the amount of Ron Paul supporters that have been banned from Hannity's forum for just being Ron Paul supporters......

Raises hand.

Actually been banned multiple times.

First time was for "contempt of host" when I caught Shamity, bald faced lying on air, with recordings.

We all might be gone. Being a member on this forum could get us detained.

Hopefully they will put us all together. The resonant frequency will be so powerful that it will make any walls they build come tumbling down!
