ACLU files suit against Catholics for no-abortion hospital policy

Should any Church be recognized as having Equal or More Rights than the Common Man?

As much as I support Freedom of Religion, many Religions appear to not show any respect for the Rights of men all too frequently.

This incident has nothing to do with equal rights of a church; did this woman ask for an abortion? Many women have lost babies under similar circumstances and it has nothing to do with the hospital not doing their job.

Also, contrary to what Lucille posted - and I am not criticizing her- there looks to be about 3 hospitals is the vicinity and 12 clinics. I could be wrong, but this is what is listed.

And, as angelatc posted, she probably didn't pay a dime for the care.

Women are also now losing their babies when the Govt steps in an confiscates the unborn fetus by force. As far as not paying, people are also being charged for the costs of their own body cavity searches when accused by cops of carrying drugs. Both of these things will continue to increase as the problems in this country continue to escalate. Admittedly, both of those points are totally off topic.

The common man does have the right not to provide abortions to anyone.

Every mans Rights end where another mans begin. No man has the right to decree that another man has no right to give an abortion any more than they have the right to decree what another man can eat or not eat for dinner.

I do not have the right to tell you not to have an abortion- but I DO have the right not to participate in your choice.

Exactly why we can still get along just fine without Govt or Church regulation, even when we dont agree on ANY subject.
