If so, i'm disappointed, it's a lot of the same clips and interviews from his last one, just re-edited.

While I agree with Stossel, I'm still at a loss to figure out how to get the medical companies to focus on cures. The biggest ones particularly don't care about cures as much as they do rebranding existing temporary fixes, to continue to drive profits.

Not that government would be better. But what would make it better? How would it become more of a financial incentive to develop a cure, rather than provide long term medications for people?

My take is that a companies should need to stay innovative. The way that Goverment locks down entrance into this any part of the medical field 'for saftey' the more of a controlled enviroment these companies get to operate in. I am sure there are a slew of private organizations that would be equaly as capable of accrediting and certifing new products and methods. That credibility would be cultivated carefully and far more accountable to the public.

As far as Cures.. look at lifestyle and agriculture, unhealthy processed products are heavily subsidised, whole foods, whole ingredients unnitrated/pestasided/chemically washed or gassed are almost non existent.. again largely becuase of goverment control. Whole food copanies should be allowed to market their foods/methods as cures, complete with private certifications with ever increasing prestige and acceptance attached.

The FDA needs to go.
