I just got back from seeing Dr. Paul at the rally over at the University of Washington. I'm still pretty jacked up about it. Got his autograph and met and shook Mrs. Paul's hand too...what a sweetie!

I also spotted Vijay getting interviewed by Essex Porter (local TV) so I was able to give him some quick thanks for his hard work before I headed back down to the UW hospital.

Short but sweet. First time ive ever been to a political rally of any kind. Bad thing...I didn't have my camera, and my bberry doesn't have a camera either. Oh well.

Yes, I would estimate 500ish..?? I'm lousy at estimating though, seemed like a good size crowd to me...maybe more?

It was his third stop around the area and I was told the other two had good crowds as well.

I would imagine it will be on local news (CBS affiliate)...I think that's who Essex works for. A couple news crews. I don't have one of those DVR thingys to record news tonight, perhaps someone else does.

Washington is favorable Paul territory. Local media had been slacking until recently with their coverage...but KCPQ (local fox affiliate) did an awesome interview with him recently...it is on this forum somewhere (youtube vid)

Argh! From the article "despite anti-war leanings he describes himself as a conservative" (or something to that affect). Thanks to the Bush dynasty, everyone thinks you have to be a war-seeker to be Republican! As Dr Ron would say "When did this come about?"

around a 100 for the HQ grand opening-around 500+ for the UW rally its amazing how well we did considering it was only announced a day or two ago.
