ABC News: Accused Colorado shooter appears "dazed" in court.

yeah really, because by God, as a civilized person we need to show this murdering scum the electric chair...

>s<

The electric chair would be a mild punishment compared to what this evil monster did to all these innocent people.

It doesn't matter why he did it. He brutally murdered 12 people and injured others in cold blood. He does deserve a trial, as does every American. No American should be deprived of the Bill of Rights. But this man should be tried in court, be found guilty, and die by lethal injection.

If you're so sure he did it now, why bother trying him at all? Why not just shoot him dead and be done with it if you KNOW for a fact he did it?

He may not have done it. It is not cut and dried. You are rabid and scary.

When did he say he did it? Minus that, you do not know beyond a reasonable doubt he actually did it. He couldn't even say "yes" in court.

I understand that this man deserves a trial in court, and won't technically be found guility until the trial has concluded. He should receive the same legal rights as every other American. However, for you to say that there's some real chance that he wasn't the shooter is beyond ridiculous and bizarre. Saying that every single American deserves a trial is not the same as actually making the case that someone else was actually the shooter. It's been reported over and over again that this man's only defense is that he's guilty by reason of insanity, not that he didn't actually shoot all these people.

They claim he had a gas mask..which means anybody could have been under it. Early eyewitness on-the-spot reports had a four inch discrepancy between Holmes and the guy who went to the theatre exit door for the cellphone call. Fuirthermore, the gasmask was found down at the corner of the building at the opposite end of the crime scene, under the surveillance camera so nobody could see them when they took it off. Around that corner is a driveway to the main drag. An easy shot getaway once you made it to the corner. Let's not fry James yet. There are things about the crime scene that would have been impossible for him to do. The gasmask was over 250 feet from where he was arrested and the AR-15 is abandoned outside the theatre with a 30 round clip yet there are reports of a 100 round drum being used and jamming. Perhaps the real shooter weapon left with the guy who discarded the gasmask at the opposite corner of the building.

We are on the exact same page my friend.......

I'm still having problems with the surrender/capture version of events. Chief Oates is saying his officers challenged Holmes when he looked like SWAT, but they noticed an anomaly with his gear. Was he just standing around? Was he posted up like SWAT? Why wasn't he hiring at them? Was he trying to blend in and make a quick escape? Doesn't add up.

Another theory. This kid was relatively "normal" until the past few months. Is his infatuation with Batman, Joker, etc part of the programming? I mean his hair is orange for crying out loud. Perhaps he was in the theater and was programmed to initiate Operation Joker when a certain scene in the movie took place (trigger mechanism). Manchurian Candidate Holmes, the masses are buying into the official narrative.

Because we can't suspend the Constitution under any circumstances, even if we know that someone actually committed a crime. It would lead to a slippery slope if we didn't give every American a trial. How hard is that to understand?

Don't worry. The FBI crime lab is hard at work. ROFL

I keep hoping someone is in there trying to do a real job. I have read alot of forensics texts and books by former coroners and lab people and they generally are honest folks. If this is a job by you-know-whoski then I hope Agent McDonald and Agent Flannigan are hard at work. We really don't know which faction of the FBI swooped in on this mess.

I would hate to be the lab technician who finds out that Holmes AR-15 was not the primary murder weapon. That would ruin anyone's day.

Still don't understand why we can't publicaly execute him and save us a TON of tax dollars.

I am amazed how so many are rushing to judgement. How do we know that he acted alone? How many accomplices could he have had? Was he duped? A patsy? Could he have been framed? Too may questions we need to know. This narrative from the cops is really strange. Sounds like some script they are trying to ram down the public's throat. Where have we seen this before?

That is just nuts beyond belief. I really can't believe I'm reading this here.

Explain to me the gasmask at the end of the driveway, the reports of a 100 round drum being used in the theatre and a 30 round clip AR 15 being outside. I can blow scopolamine in your face and ten minutes later tell you to go to your bank with me and withdraw all your cash. You will do it with a smile and maybe 24 to 36 hours later begin to comprehend what you have done. Are you aware of this drug? It has been around for centuries. It's use is common in intel ops. The UN gun treaty is going to pass because of this. I can't believe you are posting what you are posting frankly/. You are truly fucking scary to the max. You want a kangaroo court to certify your story and murder him. Let's get all the facts and figure out why there are things in this that were impossible in the timeframe for Holmes to have accomplished. Let's certify that we have the real killer and not a patsy.

RonPaulForums, on some threads: "The U.S. federal government is way too incompetent to have a death penalty or control health care. They can never do anything right."

RonPaulForums, on other threads: "The U.S. federal government is the most brilliant mastermind ever; they orchestrated the perfect crime and cover-up of their very convoluted 9/11 plan and used mind-control to make some random college student shoot people to pass U.N. gun control. Darn their intelligence."

If you are going the route that someone else may have done it, what is the explanation for his apartment being "booby trapped" and him knowing about it and warning officers? I guess he could have been an accomplice, but I find it pretty unlikely after everything I've read on the subject.

no fucking shit. This entire episode is just too strange to be believed. Damn...i wish it was just a nut case on freak out drugs. What did he do after he came out of the theater...go..woohoo! and toss his gas mask 250 feet away?...that right there raises red flags for me...can anyone here toss a gas mask that far? i'm big strong guy but i don't know how much those things weigh. Is it possible to toss one that far?...

This man was plotting this for four months, buying all kinds of firearms, bullets, and protective gear. It's a known fact that the shooter didn't decide to do this at the last second.

Not ridiculous at all. The quantity of government staged events to induce empathy for eventual civil liberty negating legislation is quite large, and must always be a priority consideration. Any honest criminal investigation would always ask who might have the means, motive, and opportunity to frame or dupe someone that may initially appear guilty. And, in a crime that is so politically inflammatory, the motives are huge.

It was the government's powerful mind-control beams. Mr. Holmes was a fool for not wearing the recommended aluminum foil.
