A selfish reason to want a $15 minimum wage

I just thought of a selfish reason to want a $15 minimum wage.

Yes lots of people would lose their jobs, especially in the customer service sector. But the people most likely to lose their jobs would be the least qualified, and those that are not worth it to the employer to keep around. The lazy, english challenged, druggies, high school drop outs, and the generally oblivious losers that don't care about other people. These people become unemployable. Meanwhile the hard workers and pleasant to interact with are rewarded.
it is known by Economist that the most productive retain their employment in a price floor environment, but I don't understand why you want to pay for welfare checks to the unemployed.

It's a flawed assertion.

If a company is hurting, and it can find a way to foist "early retirement" on people, it will, regardless of how well they are doing their job. They are unlikely to keep what would objectively be their best workers, because in certain cases those workers are very expensive. Their wage/salary is the most likely to have risen over the years. Their benefits are most likely to be cushy, grandfathered-in benefits (new workers don't know what the word "pension" is, in most cases). You will essentially see crowding at the lower end of the pay scale.

A) degenerates toiling away in the rat race for peanuts eeking out a meager hole in the wall

B) degenerates doing degenerate things with plenty of free time subsidized by the welfare state

More of these workers having income to spend in the economy. Hopefully getting past the point of having hardly any money left after cost of living expenses and also less dependent on social assistance.

No it doesn't. I just had this random thought that it would be nicer to get better customer service is all.

This to. Also, hopefully better paid employees are taking better care of themselves and less likely to drag themselves into work sick and getting customers sick.

So, why not $20 per hour and really help people? Why not $30, $50 or $1000 per hour? Please answer why not $20 instead of $15?

Right. That's totally how it would work. There wouldn't be any rewards for being good at your job your reward would just be not getting fired. And all the federal race/sex quotas/notquotas wouldn't impact services at all.
