Just had this conversation with my dad today. He was asking me my thoughts on the airstrikes and whether we should arm the Kurds.

I indeed believe our shadow government armed ISIS. To be honest, I know I have no proof, but I think that's part of what Benghazi was about and why John McCain visited Syria. We were arming the rebels. And now we're shocked at how they're using them?

How can you have no proof? Obama-Kerry tried to bring us to war in Syria in support of these very same jihadis, plus we know of weapons running to them by the Dept. of State, plus personal visits and photo-ops from no one other than John McCain, former GOP Presidential nominee, himself.

They take the fact that western powers tried to sway the revolution by arming groups like FSA and providing some support for them.

Then they slyly try to connects that with a totally separate group of people (ISI: Islamic State in Iraq) which was the Jam'aat (organization) under the leadership of Aymen al Zawahiri, who disobeyed his orders and took swaths of Syria over (and ended up clashing with other rebels). They were already well armed from the Iraq war.

I still challenge anyone to produce one credible source to say the US funded, trained, or armed ISIS, of Jahbat Nusra or any other Salafist group.

I'm seeing three claims.

1 - I didn't say FSA never would defect to ISIS, they will go to the strongest. But that doesn't prove the US trained IS, they were not IS if they were trained by the US, they were FSA.

2 - The link from ibtimes does not give proof, its making an assertion. It's taking the fact US helped Syrian Rebels and replacing those words with ISIS, which is disingenuous.

3 - The third link is highlighting the corrupt process of handing weapons over to Syrian opposition groups and how groups are not properly vetted, it does not claim the US is funding and training ISIS.

A British mother who once sang in an all girl-rock band may have converted to Islam and be threatening to behead Christians with a ‘blunt knife’, it has been revealed.

Investigators have revealed the British woman who travelled to the middle eastern country after marrying a known British jihadist may be Sally Jones, from Chatham in Kent.
Jones, believed to be in her 40s, married British hacker-turned-extremist Junaid Hussain and converted to Islam, before the two were believed to have travelled to Syria separately where she has been making her threats via Twitter.
Changing her name to Umm Hussain al-Britani, the mother of two allegedly tweeted messages of hate such as: ‘You Christians all need beheading with a nice blunt knife and stuck on the railings at raqqa … Come here I’ll do it for you!’

Although her Twitter and Facebook accounts have since been deleted, she also revealed that she and her husband may have travelled to the ‘Islamic State’ (another name for the Caliphate) after being stuck in Syria for seven months.
