Hello all Ron Paulians!! This is a special LAST MINUTE plea (on my knees) to you all to help the Hawaiians.
The Hawaii GOP convention is next week the 16th – 18th of May.
You may have seen pleas for support to help but here is something different!!
I am offering a Special One time offer of 50% matching donations for all of you that can help at the last minute to help get more RP Hawaiian state delegates to the convention. The chip in right now is at 18 contributions and $801.00. This is great but they need more.
So for a limited time (no coupons or email registrations needed) I will match 50% of all donations to this chip in. That’s right!! YOUR $10.00 Becomes $15.00. Your $100.00 becomes $150.00.
Restrictions apply:
I will match up to $400.00 more of your donations and give 50% of the difference between the $801.00 now donated so that the $400.00 extra becomes $600.00.

The situation is:
• There are many Hawaiians elected as RP state convention delegates.
• The cost for the convention registration is over $200.00 (including mandatory rubber chicken dinners)
• Any delegate not on the island of Oahu (Honolulu where the convention is held) has additional transportation expenses (unless they have a dugout canoe and time to paddle 200 - 400 miles)
• Most people will sleep on couches at another RP supporters couch on Oahu. But there are also additional food expenses.
• The money raised so far on the Hawaii chip-in is not going to be spent for just one or two delegates. Please understand this. This money is divided bit by bit to help PART OF the expense for any delegates facing economic problems. MOST DELEGATES ARE PAYING THEIR OWN WAY 100%.
• Hawaii is a tourism based economy. Therefore many delegates elected and eligible for the convention have to give up weekend tourism earnings in order to attend.
• The national Ron Paul campaign has been contacted numerous times to help. They have not responded. As we know by now Ron Paul has decided to keep the existing balance in the campaign account for whatever other purposes. We await the decision on this and I hope it will be for something more important than national Convention Delegates.
• Ron Paul has stated that he wants the grassroots to continue to work towards electing national Convention Delegates. The folks in Hawaii are committed to that goal. And they are organized and ready. But they need more votes at the State Convention.
• I don’t even live in Hawaii but have made friends with some of them and believe that they are organized and ready for battle next weekend.
• No guarantees are made that they can win one or more national convention delegates.
• We all know that we can get screwed once we show up or not have the votes needed.
• But I assure you all that your generous support will help at one of the LAST possible conventions for RP. Your donation will not be squandered.
• In Hawaii 4 delegates extra at the convention should represent 1% of the total vote there. So with the votes they now have and every 4 votes more they get 1% extra. EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS!! Please help and be part of the action. Your generous donation will not only receive a 50% boost but will help ensure the best possible result.
Please help with even $5.00. Remember I will post here tomorrow morning or sooner with my matching donation of 50% of what you all give. (up to $200.00 total on my part).
I know that giving is getting difficult for all of us. There are many great causes and candidates. (Go BJ, Vern and Murray!!)
