FBI stats show 1,432 people were killed in “active shooter incidents” from 2000-2024, and the National Safety Council reported 47,026 people were killed in falls in 2023 alone.

According to the FBI, there were “556 incidents” in the timeframe of 2000-2024, resulting in 1,432 killed and 2,489 wounded.

The year with the highest number of casualties during the studied timeframe was 2017, with 734 deaths. The second highest year was 2016, with 214 deaths.

But figures from the National Safety Council show a whopping 47,026 people died from falls in 2023. Moreover, the National Safety Council noted “more than 8.8 million people treated in emergency rooms for fall-related injuries in 2023.”

Additionally in 2023, the National Safety Council pointed out “there were 100,304 deaths from preventable poisoning.”

In summary: 1,432 deaths in mass shootings, or “active shooter incidents,” during the timeframe 2000-2024 versus 47,026 deaths from falls in 2023 alone. Over 100,000 deaths occurred in 2023 due to poisoning.

Far more people were killed in mass shootings this past weekend than the total number of cats, dogs, pets and geese confirmed killed and eaten by Springfield Haitians. Yes I'm still pissed about that. Let's just be honest and say both sides amplify what they think will get miliage for their agenda. A white vet with PTSD kills "American Sniper" Chris Kyle along with another vet? Tragic but nothing to see here. An Afghan vet who got recruited by the CIA to be part of a death squad at the tender age of 15 and years later kills one national guardmen and wounds another? We must deport all Afghanis!

From 2000 to 2019, age-standardised fall-related mortality rates in the United States increased significantly across all racial and ethnic populations, with the highest rates observed among American Indian or Alaska Native (AIAN) and White populations.
In 2019, the age-standardised mortality rate was 15.9 deaths per 100,000 for AIAN individuals and 14.8 deaths per 100,000 for White individuals, compared to 8.7 deaths per 100,000 for Latino, 8.1 deaths per 100,000 for Black, and 7.5 deaths per 100,000 for Asian or Pacific Islander populations.
This pattern persisted across age groups, with AIAN individuals showing the highest mortality rates among younger adults (aged 20–64 years), while White individuals had the highest rates among older adults (aged 65 years and older).

Between 1999 and 2020, the age-adjusted mortality rate (AAMR) for falls among adults aged 65 years or older rose from 29.4 to 69.4 deaths per 100,000, with the largest increases observed among White older adults (from 30.8 to 78.4 deaths per 100,000) and American Indian or Alaska Native older adults (from 30.5 to 53.6 deaths per 100,000).
In the 85-and-up age group, the fall-related death rate for White Americans was two to three times higher than for any other racial or ethnic group, while older Black individuals had the lowest fall-related death rate.
Despite the overall increase in fall-related deaths, the reasons for the higher mortality rates among White seniors compared to other groups remain unexplained.

At the county level, spatial variation in fall-related mortality was evident, with high rates among White populations in clusters of counties across states such as Florida, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and elevated rates among AIAN populations in most counties with available data, particularly in younger adults.
These disparities highlight the need for targeted fall prevention interventions tailored to specific populations and geographic areas.

The Charlie Kirk narrative at the moment was "trans people dangerous." Yours is "black people dangerous." But when it comes to school mass shootings which group is the most dangerous? I did a statistical analysis on the K-12 shooting data from the Washington Post using the R programming language with assistance from ChatGPT. Here are the results:
