2014 Battle For The Senate - Official Thread

Scott Brown loses but Ed Gillepsie is looking good in Virginia, running ahead of Cuccinelli

that was the one I held my nose for...

I got carried away after that... and voted straight Libertarian/independent.... :)

Gillespie is one Republican who is definitely worse for us than his Democrat opponent. He is war-party tyrannical corporatism on steroids, and an extremely dangerous character.

Not sure I can differentiate between him and Warner after reading that lol I voted for Sarvis.

MN? Isn't Franken up by 11% in the polls?

That would be running against Warner.

He's comparing to the results of last year's race for Governor, which was quite close. As the big Dem counties all turn in their results last, where Gillespie stands vs. Cuccinelli at the same level of precincts reporting is significant.

Gillespie winning would be extremely bad for us. He is the type of GOP-e that finds us a bigger threat than the Democrats and acts accordingly.

Yeah that could be the most expensive runoff in the history of the US

I don't see why the Dems would spend a dime on it. Landrieu is toast even with a billion dollars to spend on the runoff. Sitting Senator polling at 41%, way below the Incumbent Threshold of Doom (45%). Nothing she can do will win the runoff for her.

I wonder if we'll get a vote on Audit The Fed now?

Hahahahahahahahah!

Oh, there might be a vote on it - and something called "Audit the Fed" might even pass.

But the chances of such a thing actually resulting in a genuine audit of the Federal Reserve is about as likely as the "Affordable Care Act" resulting in affordable health care ...
