You can thank Karl Rove personally for that one, and Tillis always was the weakest candidate in the Primary field. Most of us knew he would lose to Hagan the moment he got nominated.

Brannon could've beat Hagan. Sean Haugh would have my vote if I lived there personally tho.
 
NC Senate race was about teachers, women, teachers, obamacare, and teachers.

Hagan will win tonight.
