12/16 Promotion - Want $6.5 Million? We Need 65,000 Pledges for $100 on TeaParty11.com

As for my opinion on stamps, WD-NY style is better than what nathaniel posted.

TeaParty11 is still on, NoneButPaul.com will be forwarding to it.

This provides an avenue for those who don't like the Tea Party name to promote

I am sorry, but it is way too late in the game to be changing anything.

Have you seen the negative reaction to the Facebook post by the Ron Paul 2012 page? He specifically had to tell people it's not about the Tea Party movement and many of the comments were about how Ron Paul needs to disassociate himself from the Tea Party. It just doesn't seem to be working. People are rejecting the current theme.

Sorry, but I'm not liking that new stamp on the pledge widget at the top of the forum. It blends in with the word "Tea" and it's hard to read what it says. I still like WD-NY's stamp better.

Yeah. That's not a good idea at all. The stamp itself can be better served on it's own and should be in order to maintain branding.

The proper approach is to use the color to associate to the main logo. This is why I prefer the red stamp, because it should be an attention-getter on its own.

Here is how I'm incorporating it into the new design. If you'll notice.. your eye will go to the Ron Paul image with the Tea Party logo.. the next place your eye is drawn to is the stamp. From a graphic design sense.. this is how you "overlay" two elements of imagery together, without doing it tangibly. You have to trust the mind of a viewer to do that for you.

Much better Dusman. It seems the current stamp on the widget has been turned darker, but I really can't read it at all now.

New website design is great.

You can't read the stamp on the widget and it just makes Tea unreadable as well...

Is there any chance we could get that new image of Ron Paul on the concept art to replace the image on the pledge widget?

Whoever is working with the stamp.. can you make a red version that says "No One But Paul" instead? None But Paul is odd..

This.

I don't care which sort of stamp is used. But the round one is completely un-readable in its present form (even when all by itself as Dusman has it in the mockup above). Over the Tea Party '11 widget makes it even more difficult to decipher.

I was also kind of hoping that we could put the brand over the main Tea Party '11 Logo at the top left of the scroll. The brand "No One But Paul" over "Tea Party" sends a pretty stern/strong message.

re: sub-headline of "Goal: 65,000 for $6,500,000..."
I still think these details = secondary to a more motivating/inspiring statement that answers "WHY?".

BTO had a very clear "why?"... namely to "Break through the media blackout and help Ron Paul take his message DIRECTLY to the people."

What's this money bomb's "why?"... Nothing wrong imo with making it a variation on BTO

I argued that as well, but it was said that the URL noonebutpaul.com was taken and that it would be confusing with the double o's, so they were going to use NoneButPaul.com instead. Unless the logo and the address were just different.

There shouldn't be another address at all.

Yeah.. I'm not sure why it would be necessary. Another web address isn't going to be useful at this point. One of the forum members here actually owns the noonebutpaul.com and if we wanted to make more use of it later, we certainly could. I'm not sure what the benefit would be for Dec. 16th however.

It's supposed to be for people that don't want to use the current address that says Tea Party in it. Many people have been reacting negatively toward our money bomb promotion. The Ron Paul 2012 Facebook page today made an update advertising the money bomb by stating that it wasn't really about the movement, but about the Boston Tea Party. Still, there was a lot of negative reaction to it in the comments, people saying that we needed to disassociate ourselves from the Tea Party and that a money bomb themed around it was a bad idea. Having to explain our promotion is going to hurt us. The new address is for people that wanted to use the "No One But Paul" theme to advertise instead, so they wouldn't receive any adverse reaction from the TeaParty11.com web address. The problem is that NoOneButPaul.com was taken, so Nathaniel obtained NoneButPaul.com. The point of the second address is to avoid adverse reactions to the Tea Party association. It's unfortunate that the media has destroyed the term by connecting it with racists.
