(10/26/11) Ron Paul on Fox News - Official Thread

Ron was great Online. Not so good on tv. The good thing is I don't think it cost us any votes, just didn't gain a whole lot.

Problem is it probably ruled out a lot of potential voters.

Now is not the time to be doing that. Major prep needed for the two foreign policy debates coming up.

Also: The Fox News Channel website had a bar on top of the screen with "ALERT: RON PAUL ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS WITH BRET BAIER"

First time I've seen Ron Paul's name that big on that websited.

Cavuto knows. The Judge knows. Ron Paul = ratings.

Ron Paul NAILED Krauthammer on that last question online. It made Ron look really strong on defense. Krauthammer looked stunned and dismantled......

Special Report Online 2012 poll:

Herman Cain ( 21% )
Newt Gingrich ( 14% )
Ron Paul ( 54% )
Mitt Romney ( 8% )
Rick Perry ( 3% )

Guys they ask everyone tough questions this wasn't a hit piece calm down shessh.

While RP supporters watched the online portion, the follow up program with Shepherd Smith, spoke about "Has the Republican Race turned into a two-man contest between Herman Cain and Mitt Romney". Again this was done by design...

Do they focus on foreign policy for the entire half hour for everyone else too? No, they ask about their economic plans.

and the answer is no, Cain is already falling in early states.....

When you're running for president, you're going to be asked tough questions and you either show up and answer them with some authority like I think Ron Paul did, or you wiggle around them to say nothing at all like Herman Cain always does. I think Ron Paul nailed those questions as best as he could considering most of these people on that panel have a complete opposite worldview as Ron Paul. He could have been a little clearer on a view things, but I think in the end it's a net +

The entire TV interview was them trying to trap him in a corner and him evading the traps. Paul did well with what they put in front of him.

Ron's economic plan is STELLAR which is why they didn't ask about it on air. Instead Rasmussen polls on it and they ask off air to see what he can back up, and if it should be stolen or how to trash him on it, imho.

This.

Ron should answer every friggin "threat" question just like that. "I'd bring it to congress. We'll declare war, we'll go in and end it quick"

To be fair, Hannity gave Dr. Paul plenty of opportunities to talk about his plan in more detail. But, Dr. Paul, for some reason, didn't do it. He only gives broad strokes.

I'm sorry, some of you can get mad at me all you want to, but Dr. Paul has to step up his game. His answers about bin Laden, Iran and the fence were horrid. There is no excuse for it either. This is by far not the first time he has been asked about these.

Where the hell is Doug Wead?
