(10/26/11) Ron Paul on Fox News - Official Thread

What I want to know is when they ask the media questions why Paul isn't like "Well, appearances aren't everything. I am rarely brought up when I'm not on a show, to the point where I was ignored after the AMES straw poll, and when I am mentioned it is very negative, unlike when you mention most of the other Republican candidates. Not to mention the fact that I consistently poll higher than some of the "frontrunners" as you so deem them."

I'm sorry, some of you can get mad at me all you want to, but Dr. Paul has to step up his game. His answers about bin Laden, Iran and the fence were horrid. There is no excuse for it either. This is by far not the first time he has been asked about these.

Where the hell is Doug Wead?

No one is getting mad at you, most agree.

I don't think the answers were that damaging, but they were nowhere near good enough. The undecided people are just as undecided, if not more. The Special Report has higher ratings than Hannity too. He needs more prep for these huge interviews.

That can come off as whining, though, too. There's no perfect answer.

I think you need to learn that Ron Paul is Ron Paul and deal with it.

That's really only your opinion. He is a human being and that is exactly what's attracted many of his followers. I think he did a good job considering the panel. You sound like a neocon in Ron Paul clothes.

LE is a strong supporter who wants Ron to win, and is in no way a neocon.

The concern is perception, not substance.

I have no view because I have no tube.... :(

He's appearing on a lot of shows in the past week and is 3rd in the early states. It's not the time to complain about lack of coverage anymore. It's time to act like a frontrunner, which is what he's starting to do now and I like it.

So, let me get this straight... someone criticizes Paul for a bad performance on foreign policy and that makes them a neocon?

Are we not allowed to criticize Paul at times? We spend a lot of times in these forums bashing other candidates, but when someone says something in the sight negative about Paul, they get hammered.

You guys sometimes act like Paul walks on water. He does no wrong kind of attitude.

We all need to be able to look at every performance and stance with an objective mindset.

He's not a neocon simply because he wants Ron to do better in interviews and reach out to more people.

He looked shocked. What could he really say after that.

He needs more than that. I know a number of people who are concerned that he would not defend our country, if an attack was imminent, or for that matter, if we were flat out bombed.

This should be extremely easy to put to rest.

Conservatives will NOT vote for someone they do not believe will defend the country. It is way past time for Dr. Paul to make this abundantly clear. He CANNOT seem weak.

anyone got the vid of the online interview? i was at work and didnt know there was gonna be something online.

Found the vid. Give this guy a warm welcome to the new video uploader (he's got 4 videos).

Yes, but his answers make our previous assertions about the media seem unfounded. As if it was all made up or something. I mean, he can top it off with saying "but recently it's been getting better" or something.
