(10/26/11) Ron Paul on Fox News - Official Thread

The online part was much better than the live on air portion. I think Ron Paul held his own and did well. Hopefully the online part can go somewhat viral, I think it'll convert a lot of fence sitters.

It is many people to one. It is a lot easier to get a dialogue with one person. When you are relating to one while they others size up where to hit you next it is harder to manage the different directions.

Agreed - but he did so well during the extended chat - even when Krath attacked. So he has it in him :)

His response to the Suez Canal question was nothing short of GRIZZLY.

yeah too bad the people who watch online are you and me.

My Dad is what I call a "tenuous supporter." His thoughts:

Before the first commercial he did AWESOME. I share the sentiments.

After that commercial, he thought the answers about Iran were good, but he didn't do as well about Osama or the fence. These aren't huge things for him though, so he didn't really care.

The rest, he said, was ok, but not as good as that first few minutes.

I assume this is how other non-supporters would think.

Also: The Fox News Channel website had a bar on top of the screen with "ALERT: RON PAUL ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS WITH BRET BAIER"

First time I've seen Ron Paul's name that big on that websited.

Ron was great Online. Not so good on tv. The good thing is I don't think it cost us any votes, just didn't gain a whole lot.

I only saw the last few minuets but man was it good. Is he getter better at this or is it just me? I have goosepimples too. I need to watch the whole thing.

I missed most of the on air part. I sure hope someone posts a tube of it!

Ron Paul did great as always. We always do this. We say oh that was terrible. Oh he should have said this or that. Oh it's an ambush. But in then end it is always a plus because Ron always tells the truth and people know consciously or unconsciously when they are hearing the truth. He gets people to think. His delivery is good for that because people really have to listen closely to what he says. He always ends up challenging the way they think about things. What can I say. He is great
