(10/26/11) Ron Paul on Fox News - Official Thread

He's made his position clear many times in the past. He said bring our troops home and let them police our borders. He also said stop all the benefits including birthright citizenship:

Yeah I know, but I just wish he could make that clear in every debate and interviews like this. He didn't even mention border security, and that's the subject that they were talking about.

OK, I figured it out. They are asking the details of his plan so they can have 'favored politicians' steal it, but it is off the air so only those on line will know.

They won't ask the questions on air or at the debate that he has a good answer for unless they find a twist they think will puncture it.

Their mics are still on!

Someone was asking about if Ron Paul really meant there would be no taxes at all.. then cut.

They always do a funny clip at the end of the show. They have played clips from Leno mocking their own program. It was humorous segment related to their guest, and Dr. Paul took it very well. I think it made him look good, if anything. He's battling a "grumpy old man" stereotype, after all.

This is true. It's a daily segment they do at the end of every show, usually it's a clip from Leno or Letterman or Stewart making some kind of political joke. Tonight though since Ron was a guest they chose a clip with him as the subject.

haha Steve asking about taxes after the camera shuts off. Steve said "you got to tax something... what are you going to tax.. consumption?"

"I think we set a record online..." -Bret Baier at end of the online segment :)

That's cool. They're still neocon scum, but the online stuff was way more relaxed and informative than the TV portion.
