1/05 RASMUSSEN NATIONAL GOP POLL numbers

It's just ridiculous that Santorum came up this much, almost over night. If Santorum becomes the nominee, the GOP will have a 0% chance of winning the Presidency.

Well, looks like Romney will be the GOP nominee and he will more than likely hand Obama a second term. Booo

WTF are you talking about? We have a strategy to get the nomination and it is on track. Take the negativity elsewhere.

I don't think he was being negative. We are definitely not "on track" to win the nomination. Yes the campaign has a strategy, but both the campaign and grassroots have LOTS of work to do to realize this strategy.

I, for one, think that Sat nights debate will be epic. Grinch and Perry will be laying into Romney and Santy like never before. Paul will be able to clarify his foreign policy and keep pushing his trillion dollar cut plan as well as reminding everyone of the damage that the Fed is doing/will be doing.

Electoral college predictions more valuable, since THAT is what matters.

Ron Paul wins California electoral prize . . . game over Obama!!

This is Paul's highest mark in a Rasmussen national poll, his previous high was 10% back in July but he's probably averaged under 7% in these. Last one had him at 8%. Rasmussen's audience seems to like Gingrich better than most and Paul less than most, so most likely other pollsters would find us about tied at this point ~14%.

Republicans Only

Right. So how can a republican only poll tell who's really weakest versus Obama? It is important to counter that perception though.

Frothy is at 11% on gallup up from 6% two days ago. It seems like he's hit the 15-16% range nationally if you include independents and the like.

gallup is a rolling average. he was at 8 yesterday, 11 today, indicating he will continue to climb over the next few days. doesn't matter though, america won't elect a bigot. he can't campaign on "i hate gay people" anywhere but IA and SC.

This is GOP ONLY

they are clearly going after Ron's electability since he was second even with Rasmussen before. WHEN I tried to see it, the poll was entirely behind a subscription wall which makes me suspicious.
