I don't think he's suggesting investing in Zimbabwe... just showing that hyperinflation doesnt necessarily preclude a poor stock market. Who knows what the actual cause is? Perhaps most Zimbabweans that have some money feel it is better to at least put it in stocks instead of currency to recoup...

I love political interest group sites/organisations that claim to represent an entire "class" of people, as if somehow their interests are all aligned and everything the site says as "with the middle class/working class/etc." is definitive. The "middle class interests" is such an ambiguous term...

too bad bush is a lame duck ... i was surprised when the regulations he was calling for were actually agreeable. He's actually right in this case, which is a pretty huge shock. However, it won't be until Obama takes over that talks will really get serious, so Bush is essentially powerless here.
