I think that is a fair argument but they only do it because the courts allow it. If the courts didn't allow it they would simply pass a "declaration". The outcome is pretty much exactly the same.
The Constitution gives Congress "the power to declare war". However, it doesn't seem to require it and it does not define what constitutes a declaration. I'm not sure that a declaration is defined under federal law either but I could be wrong about that. The Iraq war resolution was a declaration...
Penn repeatedly says he doesn't know the answer to many "unanswerable" questions but he apparently knows there is no god. I don't know how he knows that but I suspect if he were honest he would have to admit that he doesn't. "Libertarian agnostic" might be a more honest description of himself.
US vs Lopez doesn't matter because the law was changed and has so far been upheld in federal court. Until it is overturned federal law prohibits guns in schools even if the state allows it.
It would require a large amount of highly compressed air to have any power and run time. If you injected the highly compressed air into the intake manifold as he proposes it would force the intake valve off its seat and flood the engine with compressed air forcing the piston to stay at BDC...
I don't know, every article about this I've read indicated that there was all sorts of classified info. I guess it wouldn't be the first time the media exaggerate something.
That fact is that this guy leaked state secrets that may hurt the security of the US. That could be considered an act of war or sabotage. The only reason I'm not outraged about it is because the US government is so outrageous. The federal government, IMO, has an obligation to take this guy out...
I think China only considers NK as a buffer between them and a US occupied SK. I suspect if the US withdrew from SK the Chinese would probably work to undermine the Kim Jong Il and try to Unify Korea under SK government. There is no reason the Chinese should be allies with the north rather than...
Carrying the handgun you can shoot the most accurately fast is the best thing you can do. If that's .45 then carry the .45. Most people shoot 9mm better than .40, .357 or .45. Although .45 does have an advantage in that the guns that are chambered for it tend to be all steel and heavy. Of course...
And since handguns are bad at stopping people it could be argued that the added capacity of most 9mm handguns gives them a distinct advantage over .40 or .45. Plus the fact that it's easier to put shots on a target quickly with 9mm.
