We all wanna change the world. My family, on our one-income active duty soldiers salary, we're all doin' what we can. $250 for the blimp from us, and we haven't maxed out the campaign either.

Lets fight about later, if it doens't happen. All the nay-sayers, throw it back at us then. I'm worried to, ok? That's grocery money, thats Christmas cash, ect. If My money goes to waste, I'll be more than disappointed. I'll be severly upset. I believe it is a risk worth taking.

Can you IMAGINE what this would mean to Ron Paul's campaign? Of course you can.

Ron Paul is the only person who deserves this presidency. We know the odds. We know what he's up against. Please lets remember what we're fighting for and how that is so much more important than the fact that MAYBE we might lose out. $250 or my country? I'll take that chance.

Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken,
The beaten and the damned?
He said
Will you defeat them, your demons, and all the non believers, the plans that they have made?"
Because one day I leave you,
A phantom to lead you in the summer,
To join the black parade."

Exactly! I mean, how the hell are we going to win this campaign/ create a revolution without a blimp? I mean, who needs primary rallies and supplies? Those are for losers. We need big blimps, little blimps, blimps dropping tea bags and blimps dropping gold. We also need to start creating companies using Ron Paul's name. In fact, we should also go with the recent suggestions of money bombing the blimp instead of the campaign!!!!

Wow, That was a big purchase for an active duty military person. Were you already maxed out to the campaign?

I hope you get most of your money back if the blimp doesn't fly.

Yep, new to the forums. I see we have that in common, joined November 2007. I don't have lots and lots of time to post, so I check in daily to see what's going on and post a quick response whenever I have something to add.

That's what this forum is for, right? I really dont understand all the instant negativity. Seriously. A coiencidence? Meaning what? The blimp project is a hoax and I must be pormoting it because I am in some way affiliated and stand to make a gain?

How about this?

We've also bought our slim jims, hats, and yard signs from the website, counting towards the campaign. Attack me if you think I am ignorant for supporting a WONDERFUL idea, if you think I am naive, but please, do not imply I have any motivation other than to get Dr. Paul elected.

Anyway- ug. Have a nice day.

I think people are questioning you because you claim you support ron paul, yet at the same time, you imply that it's a better idea to donate to some private company over the official campaign or primary rallies, ads, supplies etc etc etc, even over your own family... It just seems kind of odd that someone completely new would start by exaggerating promoting a company who happens to be trying to use this forum for business. Obviously it means nothing though, just... odd...

Notice this is all coming before the next money bomb? Surprised? Don't be. This was expected.

I guess some people want to see the blimp fly and some go around typing negative info trying to ruin the blimp. To each his own.

Some people don't like it that there is profit being made off the blimp. I personally don't like the way the whole thing went down but, I don't care anymore I just want to see it in the air.

Nobody seems to be complaining about the people who make the signs or slim jims making a profit. What about the airplanes towing banners they're making a profit.
Again I'm not happy the way the whole thing played out but, I don't see anyopne else stepping up to the plate.

You justifying it by "noone else stepping up to the plate" would be like bush justifying going into iraq using the same pathetic excuse. The problem is not that some guys are going to be paid to fly a blimp, when people believed that, there were no complaints. The complaints started when they unleashed the huge bill on us full of unneeded expenses and sent their minions (such as yourself) to try to guilt trip everyone into paying them many thousands of wasted dollars instead of putting that same money into the primaries.

Again, this was expected. I just hope you guys don't ruin things too bad, or succeed at trying to muffle the next money bomb. Anyone who cares about the campaign would not be advocating wasting this much money, especially during this crucial time.

Erin, thanks so much for giving as much as you have on a military salary. Really inspirational to see people like you do whatever you can to try and help us take back America.

Vodalian, please don't comment when a person is trying to make a postive comment. Everyone understands by now your not happy how this is going about. You've made your point.

Can you let it go now?

I'm not a minion. I'm a believer.

Support in whatever way you are compelled to. For me, every financial decision is a sacrifice. I don't have unlimited means. So yes, if I donate to this or buy a new coat, something else is off the table. For us it was less Christmas, and a few extras cut out of the budget.

You all make me smile with your skepticism and negativity. I'll remind you- because it seems necessary- that most Ron Paul supporters are new. Hopefully that statement will continue to be true as his follwing grows.

PS Dr. Paul is on The View today, it is airing right now in the EST. 11-12.

Nah, I would rather support Ron Paul thank you very much. You guys may not care, but there are still many people out there who would rather see Ron Paul win then sound cool in a forum.

Just the fact that you are trying to tell me to stop speaking out against thousands of dollars being blatantly wasted in the name of Ron Paul speaks volumes.

Geez, what is it with you guys? I started reading this forum because of all the optimism and enthusiasm about liberty. Have I been that wrong? All it takes is a stupid blimp to divide this group of people and make the exact same mistakes we said only 'the others' would? If that's true then maybe we don't even deserve a revolution.

The way I understand things starting a company was the only way Trevor could make his blimp idea work while NOT hindering the official campaign in any way. Let him try his idea and simply don't pay for it if you don't like it. That's the libertarian way.

Libertarianism is all about private organizations having innovative ideas and relying on voluntary funds to pay for them, hell perhaps even make some profit. It's NOT about telling other people what to do with their time and money.

Now let's get back to optimism and smiling, please :)

If only they were starting this company just to put a blimp in the air. Did you even bother to look at the fees? Or is it just a matter of "blimp", "fun", "good", "cool". The fees go far and beyond what is needed to accomplish this, it not just a couple of hundred or even a couple of thousand, but TENS OF THOUSANDS OF WASTED DOLLARS. The blimp expenses were fine, nobody complained and everyone was happy, but they had to take advantage of the fact that people donated and decided to charge people for everything they could think of, including them wiping their asses. You guys may not care about the financial situation of the campaign, but don't expect everyone to go down that same route. Sounding cool in a forum isn't worth potentially harming the campaign, at least not to me.

I just explained to you how tens of thousands of dollars are being needlessly wasted from the campaign instead of being put into the primaries and you think it's awesome? And you wonder why your legitimacy was questioned? It's like I'm in the twilight zone or something.. Either that, or I'm in the middle of a really well planed and f###ed up operation.. I really hope it's #1.

Nah, I would rather support Ron Paul thank you very much.

Looking thru your posts, all I see is complaint after complaint with a condescending tone to boot.

How do you expect for us to get anywhere when all you do is continually criticize everyone and everything?
