Two neocon-leaning blogs, little-green footballs and the American Thinker, have published allegations that Ron Paul and his staffers have met on a regular basis with neo-nazis and white supremacists. These disturbing, potentially deadly charges wind up being the third story listed under yahoo news when one types in news for "Ron Paul."
The source of their "concerns," is the following post from a neo-nazi leader on a white supremacist forum called vanguard national news:
"I have kept quiet about the Ron Paul campaign for a while, because I didn't see any need to say anything that would cause any trouble. However, reading the latest release from his campaign spokesman, I am compelled to tell the truth about Ron Paul's extensive involvement in white nationalism.
Both Congressman Paul and his aides regularly meet with members of the Stormfront set, American Renaissance, the Institute for Historic Review, and others at the Tara Thai restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, usually on Wednesdays. This is part of a dinner that was originally organized by Pat Buchanan, Sam Francis and Joe Sobran, and has since been mostly taken over by the Council of Conservative Citizens.
I have attended these dinners, seen Paul and his aides there, and been invited to his offices in Washington to discuss policy.
For his spokesman to call white racialism a "small ideology" and claim white activists are "wasting their money" trying to influence Paul is ridiculous. Paul is a white nationalist of the Stormfront type who has always kept his racial views and his views about world Judaism quiet because of his political position.
I don't know that it is necessarily good for Paul to "expose" this. However, he really is someone with extensive ties to white nationalism and for him to deny that in the belief he will be more respectable by denying it is outrageous - and I hate seeing people in the press who denounce racialism merely because they think it is not fashionable."

American National Socialist Workers Party
I was initially shocked and repulsed after reading the letter. As someone who detests collectivism and the group mentality, as well as a pacfist that abhors any sort of violence, I have no tolerance for racism or nazism. I was ready to renounce my ardent support of Dr. Paul.
Thanksfully, I came to my senses and decided to do a little research myself.
I'm glad I did, because the story turned out to be complete nonsense, (as I will show below) and I later sent The American Thinker the following email:
The individual you cited in your Ron Paul speech is discredited by even his own fellow nazis in the thread embedded in the "little green football," blog you source. Later in the thread, he absurdly suggests that "dozens," of other US congressmen and senators have "connections," to nazi groups and that this is "no secret." (1) . He also is caught in at least one lie about Paul by initially saying, that "Ron Paul is a white nationalist of the stormfront.... type," (2) and then backpeddling, saying he is not even close to a "white nationalist."(3)
After being throughly ridiculed and discredited by his fellow nazis, he ludicrously asserts that he has been "bribed," by many prominent Democratic and Republican officials, but has "refused," their overtures because he is a "self-made millionaire," (4)
I like reading you guys, and know you'll be intellectually honest enough to issue a retraction..

I'd appreciate it if Paulites would circulate my debunking of the defamatory story. More importantly, we need to repeatedly contact the two aforementioned blogs to point out the facts and demand a retraction.
