Does anyone have any polls from Wyoming? The caucus is tomorrow, yet it basically has gotten no coverage.

Wyoming I believe is the smallest state in the Union.

Mostly bull riders and ranchers.

Don't know about any details on the caucus's.

I read that Wyoming doesn't know what is going on in Wyoming, Seem the only statement made was stronger support of Romney and Paul in the bigger towns. who know whats up rural (which is most of the state)

I did remember this, http://ronpaulgraphs.com/donors.html, which shows Wyoming is one of the stronger states for donors. Given the lack of press, it might lead to less turnout, thus helping our chances there. Compared to Iowa, its a whole lot stronger.

A quote :
'This is the raw unedited video I shot at today's Ron Paul rally in Cheyenne Wyoming. There were 300+ people in attendance, not bad for one of the smallest states in the country.'
From http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKVvgyIEqbQ
Wyoming population 515,004, meet up members 29
Iowa population 2,982,085, meet up members 117

Iowa percentage. Iowa meetup group number divided by actual votes for paul. = 100.1 votes for every meet up member.
Iowa Total turn out for all votes to republicans was 117,409. Divide that by the total population = .00039%.
Wyoming meetup members = 29 mulitiply that by 100.1 = 2,905 Dr. Paul votes. Take the ratio of republican votes .00039 and Muliply it by the total wyoming population = 20,276.
2,905 Dr. Paul votes out of 20,276 republican votes cast places Dr. Paul at just under 15% (14.3).

Based on the information Iowa is such a religious state and the demographics people knew Huck would win. The Paul campaign did much better than the polls suggested. So if I had to guess based on this information I think Paul will get Near High 20%-30%

2 polls from this fall 2007 Ron Paul placed first in one. That is a good sign for getting more delegates.

2 delegates from Iowa and if ron wins wyoming or comes 2nd it should help Ron

And darn it, Wyoming has only 14 delegates left after they we're penalized 14 delegates for moving up the date.

An injustice to the citizens of the state by the state GOP IMHO.

Sure wish these state GOP could read the rules - I'd be mad as heck if I lived there, making my voice heard less in this process.

Wyoming is looking good. Great RP turn out at the precinct caucuses. Romney also did well. Undecided was popular too. People hate Rudy over there.

I really think the strong Huckabee vote was a Christian vs Mormon vote. Christians in Iowa really don't want to see a Mormon win this one. Also, Romney's campaign spent a fortune in that state and did a lot of automated calling that frustrated people. My guess is that caused an extra 10% in favor of Huckabee.

It's possible that the same may happen in Wyoming. It's got similar characteristics to Iowa.

No it doesn't. Wyoming has a ton of Mormons. And a ton of Ron Paul supporters. Wyoming and Iowa are very very very different states. I take it you're an east coaster? :p

Both states have large farm interests and traditional christians. There may be a lot of Mormons, but that very relative compared to the number of Christians.

I lived in Utah for a couple of years and now live in California. Boy that was a good move!

I know this may seem unreliable since I'm a first time poster, but I was raised conservative christian, and went on mission trips to both Iowa and Wyoming in high school. Iowa is God's country, but try evangelizing door-to-door in Wyoming (Riverton). Residents value their privacy, freedom, and independance. Let's not forget that WY was one of the finalists for the free state project. I'm not saying we're guranteed to beat Romney, but I think it's a two man race.

I heard that Wyoming has a very different kind of caucus than Iowa. Not just anyone can go...you have to be preselected. I think it's more like the Texas straw poll. Anybody remember the Texas straw poll? Only delegates could vote.
