WTF? Huckabee: The Constitution Should Be Amended To Conform To The Word Of God

I am a Christian, I run a ministry, this guy makes me vomit. Period.

Real Christians are waiting for a Theocracy that will be brought with love and peace by Christ Himself, not by some wanker politician who thinks he IS the 2nd coming.

.

Unbelieveable.. What's really sick is this guy will get tons of votes because 30% of americans are evangelicals, and they are sick enough to want a God fearing Constitution..

Correction: they want a Christian God fearing Constitution. A Muslim, Hindu, etc. God isn't acceptable.

But that's one thing I've noticed about evangelicals. Too many criticize other governments for imposing Islam, but when it comes to imposing their brand of Christianity, no problem!

Is this on YouTube? If so, does someone have the link?

Just look one post above yours.

It's not evangelical Christians I worry about, it's people of any persuasion who want to use Government to force their way of life on the rest of us.

"Give unto Caesar what is of Caesar, and give unto God what is of God."

And give unto Huckabee the business--he deserves it! Just don't expect Dr. Paul to do it for us. It isn't consistent with the strategy of sling no mud, stay above the fray, and be the last man standing.

Does this look like an Ed Rollins move or did Huck decide to do this himself?

I would be considered by most to be "evangelical," though I don't prefer the term myself, and I do not hold to Huckabee's viewpoint.

I am curious as to the context of his statement. Is he speaking of abortion or marriage? Or is he speaking as a whole? Does anyone know? Either way, he's opened a can of worms for himself.

I've said elsewhere on this forum. Evangelicals are NO different than any other group in this country:
1) They aren't perfect.
2) They have people who have been duped to believe it's legitimate to enact legislation that gives preferential treatment to your group.

In that respect evangelicals are no different than black groups, jewish groups, business groups, environmental groups, etc.

I sent it to HQ in the hope that Ron Paul might use it to confront Huckabee with in the next televised debate.

Fingers Crossed!

Uh, NO, this is not an Ed Rollins move! Ed Rollins is a political operative. He doesn't advise his candidates to act crazy on the record. Huck is and has been out of control, left the reservation, a loose cannon, whatever.

This morning, MSNBC asked Richard Haas if he had been advising Huckabee on foreign policy, and Haas would not confirm--danced around the issue.

There is no way that TPTB will back a loose cannon. This may be the final in a long trail of Dean-scream moments for Huckabee.

when facism comes to this country, it will be wrapped in a flag carrying a cross.
