WSJ video: "The dangers of Rand Paul and extreme libertarianism"

Absolutely horrendous piece.

As soon as the woman said he had "No redeeming qualities" it was past the point of partisan politics and was full on personal attack and trying to ruin him.

@#$! the War Street Journal... I will talk negatively about them every chance I get.

This intense polarity from the left might help to distinguish Rand's "brand" and come back to bite them in the butt.

As the talking head lady correctly points out, Rand posed the question about killing an American on American soil to the President (regarding assassinations), not to local cops about aborting crimes in progress. No contradiction.

It's quite hilarious to see them label Rand as an "extreme libertarian."

Yeah, Rand isn't an "Extreme libertarian." Even Ron isn't an "Extreme" libertarian. When I think "Extreme" I'd have to think of someone like Murray Rothbard. Or maybe myself, I won't call myself a moderate...

Rand isn't even publicly articulating libertarian positions at all. He's a constitutional conservative.

That Rabinowitz woman is a dyed-in-the-wool neocon. I remember seeing some of her columns in the WSJ bashing Ron Paul during his 2012 campaign.

To be fair, all organizations have differences and disagreements among their members. Another member of the WSJ editorial board is Stephen Moore, who even went on Judge Napolitano's show to defend Dr. Paul's economic proposals.

But to be honest, I also ended my subscription to the WSJ in short time after constantly seeing their editorial pages almost every day littered with war propaganda...

LOL: At 3:30 she says: "We are now in a dangerous place...a place where the Republican Party's integrity is really threatened by forces like Rand Paul.."

This lady on the WSJ editorial board must feel very threatened by Rand Paul.

Dorothy Rabinowitz has steadily produced hackjob pieces about Ron and Rand since 2008. Fortunately she is but one member of the editorial board, albeit a loud and obnoxious one.

I have to say, given all of Rand's clarifications on what he said, this is really, really sophomoric of the Wall Street Journal.

There is a show on Fox called The Journal Editorial Report, done by the Wall St Journal people. Whenever the topic of war, Iran, etc, comes up, they seem to be pretty much neo-conservative.

This is NOT your father's WSJ. They were purchased in 2007 by News Corp which also owns Fox News. What do you expect from them? Move along, nothing to see here.
