I would have a hard time supporting this venture because it will likely be very expensive, and only happens once. Maybe if we are lucky, a large number of undecideds will see it, but realistically, can we expect a large convert rate? And 30 minutes is still not alot of time, has anyone seen the townhall videos on cspan? Over an hour, and not many issues get really explained. 30 minutes would be over before you know it, and then its done. All the millions it cost to air it, gone in 30 min.
I feel the money would be better given to the campaign to fund their 10m push in upcoming states, and that is more likely to have a postive effect on the outcome of the race (targeted advertising, repeated throughout the day, so larger audience potential).
The campaign contacted me earlier asking for $10m, I imagine if they thought it would be more effective to buy one 30min slot, then that's what they'd be doing.
I trust the campaign, so if my opinion is worth anything at all, id say let's focus on giving the campaign 10million within the month like they asked for.
