Thanks, Nate. The next Worldview Forum discussion topic will be "Does One Have to Be Religious to Believe in the Principle of Liberty?"

I invite all nonbelievers who have a case for why their non-belief in God allows them to believe in liberty to attend. This will be a discussion which engages worldviews to see if religion is relevant to liberty in our goal of returning the country towards the original principles of our republic.

Bring your brains, your beer, and let's make this a fruitful discussion. :)
 
Just a Reminder

Hey, guys. The Worldview Forum discussion begins promptly at 7 PM (CDT). Anarchists, "atheists," and others who have problems with religion and/or government are encouraged to come as we discuss whether or not a person can be religious and believe in liberty. Others who just wish to listen are also encouraged to attend.

To get in on the Skype discussion, all you have to do is sign up for Skype (it's free), and post your Skype ID on this thread. I will add you to the conference call. :)
 
I'll be a few minutes late because I'll be listening to the Dividing Line with James White.
 
One More Thing

In Skype, there is also a chat room where everyone can see your messages, so if you don't have a mic but want to participate, you can still type your thoughts for everyone to see in the chat window of our conference call.

I would possibly considering joining, but don't expect any vocal input from me; I'll listen and may type, but that's about it.

The next discussion will be Thursday, November 11th, at 7:00 PM CST. The topic will be "Is the Nation of Israel God's Chosen People, and What Should Christians Do About It In American Foreign Policy?"

For those of you who struggle with the issue of why Israel gets so much support from American, evangelical Christians (especially in matters of foreign aid and policy), this will be a discussion for you to hear and ask questions. Don't miss it. :)

My apologies for not having the Skype discussion tonight. I went out with some friends to celebrate Veterans' Day, so I got caught up with that. The Skype topic above will be rescheduled for next Thursday, Novermber 18th at 7:00 PM CST.

Yes, but it's just that I haven't scheduled one in such a long time (since taking a sabbatical from the forums). I plan on having one in a week or so, but I'll keep you all posted with the details, as they develop. :)
