If I understand it right, Ron Paul wants to pursue friendly relations with other countries without intervention in their domestic affairs, lowering temperature of anti-Americanism in the world. That would help preserve our liberties at home without the need for over reaching government intrusion into our lives in the name of security. He is not an isolationist. His policy will be more like anti 'incite and barricade' policy.

Do I have it right?

If Ron Paul had his way, US will be close to Canada near the top on this list of most liked countries in the world and not 3rd from bottom in negatives.

Israel would hate the U.S. but who gives a damn, nobody likes them apparantly.

this is important analysis to get out there, it gives the neocons some nationalism to hold on to when they fear the notion of their overseas bases being closed, and the U.S. empire being reduced.

Thanks all for your replies.
So Ron Paul is the candidate for prosperity, freedom in America and peace in the world.

According to this site - Ron Paul wins by a landslide

That is very interesting!
The world is paying attention and looking to US for leadership.

Nationalism or you meant Globalism?

Drag this map around, you'll see people from around the globe who support Ron Paul:

It didn't load for me, probably my browser. Will try again.

Depends. Yes, people won't be pissed off. However you will piss off many for dropping out of the UN and you will hear plenty of criticism.

There can be different degrees of emotions perhaps. Not liking us for not trying to help may evoke a very different kind of emotion than installing a dictator against wishes of a people or bombing them, for example.

We could stay productively involved in world community without flexing our military muscle in every nook and corner of the world and meddling into domestic affairs of other countries.

Saw this movie "Pursuit of Happiness" recently in which Will Smith quotes Thomas Jefferson's insightful words few times. One of the lines was ' The English are the disturbors of our harmony'. I thought at the moment, have we been lately 'disturbors of others harmony'?

Then I got reminded of Boston Tea Party money bomb LOL

Exactly. Would you be more angry at me for not paying your rent but treating you as an equal or for paying your rent but telling you how to run your home and beating you up when you object?
